It's been a long-standing debate on whether it's in the consumer's interest to purchase insurance/coverage plan for their products or to avoid them. Somewhere along the way, it's become very sensible to protect these very expensive electronics (especially since a lot of Apple products can't be repaired outside of Apple or authorized retailers - a "Right to Repair" law might change the calculus, but for the time being we are quite reliant on Apple). Credit cards used to offer "extended manufacturer warranties" - but those are quickly diminishing in the duration of this extensions, the amount covered etc. - not too mention it's a real hassle. With AppleCare+ - you can mail (for free) your broken device or walk into any AppleStore and usually get your product fixed quickly (or replaced for free). It's definitely worth the peace of mind. And if you get a BestBuy TotalTech membership, AppleCare+ comes with every Apple purchase you make - what a deal!

I currently own six Apple devices and many others in the past 30 years, I would not go without this protection for them. I rarely have had any problems with most of them but am grateful for this coverage when I do need it.

get it or you're be sorry if it breaks. they say if you get it nothing breaks and if you don't something does..... better to pay a little extra for the protection because it is so expensive to purchase a new one

I love that I happily pay the for the Best Buy Total Tech. It has paid for itself many times over. One of the benefits is FREE AppleCare on all Apple products for the first two years you own them!

Apple Care+ does protect your purchase from most problems down the road. I'm glad I have it on my Apple products.

We had an issue with an Apple Watch and sent us a new one one no time. Have been a member of Best Buy Total since 2021 and been very happy with it. We buy all our tech from Best Buy now instead of Amazon, etc... This protection plan is a big reason why as well as the extended return times and Apple Care on Apple products.

Worth the price apple care it self can be like $100+ for two years. No problems with it and available on most devices. Overall I would say the whole membership is worth it because of the protection plans and free fast shipping, and exclusive discounts.

I ALWAYS recommend AppleCare+ when purchasing any Apple product. As with any type of "insurance-type" product; you'll be happy you have it when you need it. And better yet, if you have Total Tech from Best Buy, you get AppleCare+ INCLUDED on with the purchase of your Apple products... that's a great benefits, which equates to $$$$.

Won't buy an apple product without it. One of the biggest values out of the Total Tech program is that it comes with Apple Care (plus other protection programs) into pruchases.

The fact that total tech now includes Apple Care + for 24 months means it more than pays for itself. I buy all my Apple products at Best Buy b/c of the Apple Care w/ total tech. It’s a steal

I like knowing that my daughter’s devices are covered when she is away at school. I know she’s taken care of if any issues arise with her phone or iPad.

Always comes through. Best extended warranty for Apple products. Never had a problem getting a replacement or repair.

I love Best Buy's total tech program. I have been a member since the beginning. Any Apple product purchased gives 24 month Apple Care as part of being part of the Total Tech Program. That alone is worth it.

Great to have in case of anything outside of your control. Example: laptop was charging on the desk and cat jumps up and knocks the MacBook off the table or your kid acts out and smashes the iPad against the corner of the table.
