The customer service I received was excellent. Dominic DiPalo-Gross from the South West Las Vegas Store was friendly and very knowledgeable and help me pick the perfect computer for my needs.

When purchasing my laptop, I made an appointment with the Geek Squad to set up the computer and all of my programs and install MS Office. Even though I had an appointment, I still had to wait in line. The customer service rep told us they couldn't possibly do all the updates required on a new computer and he only had a 20 minute time slot designated and available. So, he did some set up on my computer (he was not a Geek technician). The really annoying part is the lack of communication from the appointment maker to Geek Squad (in store). I had purchased Total Best Buy and thought I would get a lot more for the money than that. I had to hire an outside person to get the setup done correctly.

At first, I wasn’t sure if I needed the plan, but after thinking about how much I use my device daily, it felt like a smart choice. Paying monthly is easier than a lump sum, and I appreciate knowing accidental damage is covered.

I strongly recommend taking it when buying something expensive, you definitely don't want to repair it yourself

I use Geek Squad faithfully. I am not a tech savy person and appreciate the help by phone and at Best Buy. I highly recommend for everyone to get the Geek Squad protection for all electronics products. I have the membership for over6 years.

The "My Best Buy Plus is a great feature to have. It provides a nice 24-month protection plan. This is a nice feature to have.

Good insurance for technology I buy at Best Buy, finally decided to add since there’s kids always grabbing or damaging my stuff so geek insurance is good

staffs are friendly, patient, helpful overall, willing to spend time, sometimes if it's not what staff is familiar with, willing to give it try and sometimes ended up with good outcome. I feel like have personal consultant without paying hefty premium

Excellent service. I recommend opting for the highest membership, not the lowest, because the highest gives you two months' priority to return the item if you don't like it. It also gives you a warranty against damage or factory defects. Aside from that, if the product's price drops within those two months, you'll get your money back, as long as you pay attention and complain.

We got the right person the last time I used the Geek Squad. There is one person that I do try to avoid because he seems inept at the questions I ask or just is not interested in helping me

Every time I have an issue, whether it be hardware, software, or technical issues due to my own lack of knowledge, the geek squad has always been there.

Worth the time and money since you'll get a warranty on your most-wanted products.
