This guarantee is a fraud. I bought 4 Sony Bravia XR TVs, (2 75" and 1 85") on December 27, 2022 through the recommendation of the BestBuy customer service representative, on the day I was given an extended 24-month warranty. 3 TVs are having problems with losing Internet connections, and the connection only reestablishes after turning the TV off for 2 minutes. This happens regularly, at least 10 times a month. Now in January 2024, 13 months after the purchase, after I could no longer bear having TVs that don't work normally, I was surprised when the BestBuy warranty phone number was not valid because my Membership was not renewed. I want to remind the reader that the guarantee that was given does not say that I am obliged to maintain my membership, paying 199 dollars per year, much less that I should be part of the membership to have the guarantee for my products purchased while my guarantee was valid. The TVs have a manufacturing problem and hundreds of videos are found on YouTube, with thousands of likes, talking about the problem with the internet connection of Sony Bravia TVs. Don't trust BestBuy's guarantee, much less the quality of Sony Bravia TV.

I was told if i purchase the 24 month protection plan for my 65 inch Samsung tv, that it would cover all parts and services. My tv has a crack in the screen , now im being told that its not covered. This was very mis leading, i would have never purchased the protection plan, if i knew this information prior to purchase.

Its a scam- a way Best Buy can just take your money they don't stand behind the warranty . I spent $5500 on a outdoor TV Best Buy installed and when I had a issue with it the warranty period Best buy said it was not installed properly despite the fact Best buy did the installation

Out the box this TV just smacks all the others silly. Colors are true and blacks are super accurate and deep. Have had other OLED tvs and monitors in the past and none compare. Great buy!

The Sony Bravia 8ii is no doubt the best TV for 2025. It’s so good, I immediately bought a second one. The sharpness, brightness, and overall picture clarity are on another level. HDR content pops, blacks stay deep and clean, and the overall viewing experience feels luxurious. Worth every penny.

Luckily, we have not had to use this service (yet). However, we only read good stuff about it. Actually, we canceled the order of our 75" Samsung Frame Pro from BrandSmart so that we could buy it at BestBuy and get the Geek Squad protection. It is a bit more expensive, but if you read the small letters of the policy there is more stuff included. We think this will save us a lot of headaches and frustration in the case something does happen to the TV!

The plan is perfect if you buy more than one item from Best Buy. In my case, I got a couple of TVs and some appliances, so instead of having separate insurance, I paid once every 2 years, and it covers all my appliances and electronics.

Can’t ask for anything better! Amazing picture quality, great response time and refresh rate. Good for movies, games, tv, and anything else you could throw at it. Super impressive TV

The 2 ladies from Geek Squad were awesome, very professional, they knew what to do and when to do it, didn’t get ahead of themselves took their time and made sure everything was working properly, they hooked up my new 77” Samsung TV and connected my existing surround sound system to the new Samsung, Great personality and very helpful in explaining the new features of the new Samsung.

All electronics are covered for 2 years under the protection plan. I purchase all my electronics from bestbuy or price try to price match. I don’t like being limited on claims. It’s 2 per year with a co-pay

Make sure you get total tech. It has come in clutch in some of my worst situations. Recently had issues with my Ps5 randomly cutting off during game play. Best buy made a sever henderance feel like a blessing. If you hands tech in your house best buy is definitely able to assist. Just make sure you buy your electronic from best buy and you will be on point

What can I say, it's a protection plan and it makes me feel more confident/safer for having it on such an expensive and fragile purchase..
