Make sure you have the mag safe charging AirPods. I couldn’t get my older version to charge. Love the reduction in clutter of all the separate chargers.

Great product after figuring out the asterisk

The only issue we had that was a little hard to find a solution for was that the airpods would not charge. There is an unexplained asterisk on the packaging for airpods, and at first, we could not get this part to work. The asterisk on 1st and 2nd gen airpods means that the original case for all 1st gen and early 2nd gen airpods is NOT wireless charging capable, however you can upgrade to a wireless charging case which will then allow the stand to work.

I have a case on my ultra and it will not charge. If I remove the case it will seat correctly and charge. Other than that this 3 in 1 is great.
