Makes charging simple because you so not need iPhone 5 plug. Uses standard cord used in most things that need to be charged. Plus protects phone.

Great case and backup power supply. Recharges the iPhone to 100% and has some reserve left over for those long trips. FYI, this is one of the few battery cases with an available belt clip. Unfortunately, it has to be ordered online from Mophie (at least when I made my purchase). Provides excellent phone protection when combined with the Zagg Screen Protector. Pros: Case is easy to handle, reasonable weight for the available power & great phone protection. Optional belt clip. Cons: Price is considerably higher than comparable cases. Charging port is micro-USB instead of lightning which means it has to be removed to connect to any lightning accessory (dock, cable sync, etc). A lightning pass thru port would have been better. WiFi sync is their suggested solution but that doesn't sync photos for example so I remove the bottom of the case, sync and then put it back together. Summary: It's a recommended purchase if you have the $'s and are willing to work around the port issue.

It may be large and a little heavy, but it's exactly what I expected and the extra battery life is great. And, it protects the phone well.

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend, which he really liked!. Would def recommend for any business owner or if your schedule is full all day. His battery life was always low. This mophie keeps the phone charged all day night day night .. a full charge (like 1 hr or less plugged in) goes a long way. Catch this when it's on sale! There's so many options depending your style. I'd personally go with the mophie AIR just bc there was more colors available.

Overall the product is a really good investment and I would recommend to anyone with an iPhone to get one if you are a heavy user and can afford it. I can't really speak on the durability claims of the case because I don't drop my phone a lot, if ever but the battery life is amazing. I charge the phone and the case at the same time during the night. Then in the morning I unplug and let my phone get to 1% before I kick the pack on. It charges my phone while I use it... yea that's right WHILE I USE IT! The only thing is that sometimes it won't charge to 100% if I use it during charge. It will go to about 95-98% then stop charging (understandably though). From that I can use it again until it drains which typically doesn't happen for quiet sometime. Essentially I get about 1.5 to 2 days worth of battery life. The only down fall to this case is that it is $120 which is costly and the color selection is limited to black, white and red(not sold at BBY). But if you've got some coupons for accessories, gift cards, RZ pts etc. I say GO FOR IT and spend the money. It is more than worth it. If you are looking for something a little less pricey though mophie does offer other cases with a tad less power.

Great dual purpose product to extend battery life between charges and provide protection for your phone.

I bought this for my fiancé who is constantly working out of town and is always needing to charge his phone. This is the second one I bought him as the 1st lasted him about a year. The only main problem he had was getting the case to charge, not sure if it was a bad connection with the specific case or if this is a known issue. It works well besides that small issue.

I purchased this case because I was tired of leaving my phone hooked to the charging cable. I'm always on YouTube, social media, or Netflix and it definitely drains my phone without this case. Having the convenience of turning on the switch located behind the case, in order to charge the phone, is a lifesaver! It's also a slim case so no need to worry about that.

So far this product has worked great. I use my phone for work and the battery typically is used up by 1:30-2:00. The mophie recharges me without the hassle of slow in car charging, this allows me to sail through the rest of the day. Liked it so much we got one for my son

Charges Well. It is slightly bulky but manageable.

This case is great as a backup and will last all day into the next day. My girlfriend has the iPhone 5 and battery dies quick. With the use of this case she easily makes it through the day with no problem. Mophie juice pack plus is the best. I have the same for my iPhone 6. Mophie is always a good choice

It works well, sturdy and looks good. I was reluctant because I bought one about three years ago that did not work and had a charging malfunction. I did nothing about it and took a loss. This time I took a chance and purchased another and I any very happy that I did. Reliable! No problems to date.

This adds about 110% charge available to iphone. Recently I rented a car in San Diego and drove to Redondo Beach. Not familiar with the area and used my iPhone 5 maps for guidence. With 15 miles to go, phone battery ran out, all I needed to do was flip the switch. Wouldn't be without this handy case.

I was looking for a nicer looking charger case than my previous ones and with a longer battery life, as I depend heavily on my phone for everything. This case literally keeps my phone charged from almost 0% to fully charged until I am able to get back home, for hours. Highly recommend it!

I bought this case after upgrading my phone and having had my battery die while out geocaching. The battery had lasted about two hours, but it died on my return trip to the car. I had heard that products were available to increase the life of a battery, so I decided on this one and so far it has been great!

There really is nothing about this case that isn't likeable. My iPhone 5s never goes dead! I can't imagine having a smart phone without this case. I had my first mophie experience with my iPhone 4s and the only negative was the blinking lights at the bottom of the case that illuminated when charging. The newer cases have improved and corrected that issue as well as offering a more streamlined and sturdier design. They also offer several color options. Lastly, it does not come with a screen protector so if thats something you want you will need purchase a protector.
