I've had several mophie products over the years and they continue to impress me. My iphone battery has been horrendous so I knew it was time to get another mophie. Instead of my phone dying at 2pm, my mophie will power my phone through the entire day. No more standing by a power outlet in an airport, that stuff is for the birds. If you're having battery problems I feel bad for you sir, I've got other problems but battery isnt one. Thanks mophie

What a waste of $130. Worked good for 2 weeks, then failed.

I bought this case for my iPhone 5 which had a bad battery. The case fits welli n the phone and battery helps my phone last all day. The of the phone with case is ok, and still fits in my pocket well.

I am currently writing this review with the case charging my phone. This product works just as intended. No issues whatsoever. I do wish the case could be charged with an iPhone 5 cable but I'm not picky. Great great buy. Definitely recommending to al my friends.

I got this for work because I'd have to travel long distances and be without a charger so this is excellent for those types of situations.

I was eager to give this a good test right away after purchasing, and although it wasn't a perfect test, here's how it went: I topped off the charge from about 75% to 100% overnight and then used my phone as normal down to 20%. I flipped the switch to start recharging, but the timing was bad as I was right in the middle of some projects I couldn't just stop. With the case trying to charge my phone, I was using WiFI and had bluetooth connected, I was using some apps and received/sent about 20 emails and about 30 texts. Ideally you would want to let your phone sit in standby while recharging, so I was unsure how the case would preform under these conditions. Despite my heavy use during the recharge, I went from 20% back to 100% and have stayed on the case as primary battery source for two hours and counting after reaching a full charge. There is a model that's a bit cheaper that advertises a 100% recharge, but I decided to go with this model that has a 120% capacity. I'm glad I did, as this is truly great product that can stand up to the real tests we put our phones through, not just the ones in the manufacturer's lab. Highly recommended!

Works as advertised. Gives me more than twice the battery life and feels good in the hand.

I have used these battery packs since they released on all my phones. Great performance and value.

I love everything about this case except the lock button. Unfortunately, that one serious problem is making the case useless to me. Despite carefully aligning everything when putting the phone into the case, the lock button extension never really aligns properly. Usually it holds the button down, causing the phone to prompt me to power it down or causing unwanted screen shots when I press the home button. Sometimes it does line up properly for a short time, but then gets stuck again the next time I press it. A tragic, deal-breaking flaw in what might have been a great battery case.

The fact that it uses the micro USB is a benefit because it allows u to keep your lightening cable connected to your computer or somewhere else for charging. Plus these USB case are cheaper than lightening cables do I keep one I bedroom, office, and car. Also had some of these cables from other devices that I don't use anymore so I did not have to buy any. Also also the speakers at the bottom redirect the sound forward instead of downward. Also you can plug the headphone cable in without the adapter but u have to be careful and use edge if fingers. U could eventually damage the headphone cable but you could get away with it from time to time if needed

No one seemed to know if it would work with the 5s, so I took a chance, and it works fine. Seems that the 5s doesn't work with chargers not officially Apple sanctioned, but this one is fine.

It really extends the time I can use my phone without recharging or being locked to a cord. I'm happy.

This case annoys the heck out of me. It keeps going from charging to not charging while the iPhone constantly let's you know about it. I've cleaned the contact points with no luck. I have to push both end & top together while phone is inside every 3 minutes. The on/off slider can get jammed at times as well. I clean my phone twice a week along with case & noticed sliding iPhone in & out really scratches the heck out of the phone- not to happy about that but it's not advertised as being dust resistant. These problems besides the scratches started after the warranty was up & before there were any reviews addressing these issues. Overall a very bad investment on the case & for the current state of my once pristine iPhone. Mophie is no longer a household name for my family. Buyer beware!

much better than former but still a little bulky compared to phone size

I am writing this after having it for almost a year. It was a lot more expensive compared to other places to start, but i didn't return it as i didn't have time and had already opened it before finding out. It was great for the first 6 months or so but then I noticed the charge started to die out a lot faster than it initially did. With each month thereafter, it only got worse. Now almost a year later, it only charges to the first level out of the 4. Having paid 130 for it, I am disappointed in this case overall, but i guess it would be worth it if it was a lot cheaper and you only expected it to last a year.

The hole going in to the headphone jack is too deep and tight. I tried three different headsets and none of them would fit. Can't use it consequently. Had to return it.

I've been heaping praise on the Mophie case I had for my iPhone 4, so naturally I shelled out the big bucks for the "improved" iPhone 5 case. First one kept turning on & off when I switched the battery on and the juice was gone within minutes. I went to Best Buy & they agreed it was flawed & immediately gave me a brand new one. Now this one doesn't turn on & off but it does heat up the case when charging to the point the heat makes it really uncomfortable in my pocket & must be removed. On top of that, I'll only get about a 40% charge before its done. So , either I have had poor luck or this case really sucks. I guess I could go back again to Best Buy but c'mon man, should I have to do that to try for the third time? Like I said, C'MON MAN!

This is a great case but unfortunately it has been discontinued. My son's case failed and now we can't get the same case as a replacement under warranty from Mophie. Plus we have contacted them several times and they say they will send a new (albeit less functional) case but it never happens. It's a shame because we love the product and have purchased other Mophie cases in the past.
