I bought this for my smartphone because sometimes there are power failures at my apartment complex. When I first plugged it in to charge it, the LEDs went out after about 30 seconds. I thought that something was wrong, but then I downloaded a PDF from the mophie website that explained that the lights DO go out after 30 seconds. It continues to charge. I expected that the LEDs would stay on while charging &, as it charged, each LED would light up. It took a long time, about 12 hours to fully charge. I haven't had an opportunity to use it yet. It's kind of expensive.

In looking for a battery backup, I wanted something that could charge my phone, an external speaker and my tablet. Also I knew if I charged my phone, my husband would want his phone charged also. That's a lot to ask of an external battery, but not for this hefty Mophie. I love the way the cables store in the device. I only wish the charger cable for the Mophie itself stored internaly as well. That's not a big issue, as I don't usually stay our long enough to need to charge my Mophie on the road. But if you take longer trips, you might find that on your wish list for this device. Otherwise, I find this Mophie all I need. Tough, rugged, and full of enough power to keep things going. A great purchase I do not regret!

Easy to use charges my Samsung Note 5 fast just like it's plugged into the wall. Idk how many full changes I can get out of it yet haven't had to use it that much.

Great use for traveling. Can charge my IP6 plus and Ipad with no problems.

I use this battery pack for my gopro and cell phone. I can get 4 full charges for my phone and if I use it just for my gopro then I can get a time-lapes for 13hours then an additional 2 hours with the gopro battery so a 15 hour time-lapes easily!

My son bought this so he was able to charge his phone in the evenings during a camping trip. It was plenty of power for him to keep his phone usable for a full week.

I love it. My brother has a similar one and told me that I should buy one. This one was on sale and I couldn't resist. It fits in my purse and I carry it everywhere.

You could get a cheaper one, however, this work with all my android devices and it charges them fast
