This sci-fi horror film is slow at first. It seems that Morgan, the DNA synthetic may harbor aggressive tendencies. Add to it's ability to learn quickly via IA, makes her a formitable enemy. It's unclear at first if her tendencies can be controlled, but becomes evident soon that it cannot. The action picks up quickly at this point, with the development team terminated by her one by one. The ending has a final twist, otherwise the plot is quite predicatable.

It’s like watching Jurassic Park. People raise and guard a genetically designed creature until something goes wrong and it breaks out. A lot of time is spent differentiating the “it” from a teenage girl which I hope is not symbolic of something. End of the film has a Bourne Identity vibe. Not bad for a very contained action tale. Joy and Mara are a good match-up. Wish there was a little more of that.

I had never even heard of this movie when I came across it, but the 4K disc was on sale for only $10 so I couldn't resist buying it. The movie is fairly solid, and has a good performance by Kate Mara. Michelle Yeoh, Paul Giamatti, and Jennifer Jason Leigh are other well-known actors/acresses in the film. If you can find this disc on sale then I would recommend it.

Movie reminded me of Species which I also enjoyed. The twist was Morgan was created by scientists who did not anticipate the psychological issues of wanting to be free of a contained/controlled environment. In Species the alien wanted to be free in order to reproduce. Similar movies with different motives for the aliens.

The plot of this movie is similar to that of other current movies. Specifically, a girl is trained in the woods to be a killer by her father, who is running from some bad government agency. I don't know if the is the original or the copy. Either way, it's reasonably good and worth watching.

Good science fiction movie, exactly what i think is our future if we keep playing GOD!!! LOL

The story line is sad. Create this child (Morgan)that's not really human. Raise her to be a killer. Then kill it because it's out of control, emotionally. It was very sad but interesteng. I really felt sorry for the Morgan.

After a couple of recent mis-fires in the 'lesser known' sci-fi category, Morgan was a welcome relief - well-made, thought-provoking and with a slight twist at the end. Overall I enjoyed it and would happily watch it again.

I saw this on blu as a blind buy. I knew it should be good produced by Ridley Scott. I enjoyed the movie on blu so I upgraded to 4K and it looks really good. I have recommended this movie to several people.

Great story movie line, where the government is testing in a child to use her as a weapon for secret missions,Watch the evolution of Morgan as she becomes a killing machine.Recommend 100%

It's surprising to me that a solid movie with this good of a cast came and went with very little notice. "Morgan" is a solid sci-fi thriller, and the movie looks and sounds good on Blu-Ray.

The story of a bioenegineered human and its struggle to survive. You need to pay close attention to the subtle details hidden to various degrees throughout the movie. Do not be fooled by the surface storyline. The extras are very well dobe and thought provoking as well.

I thought this movie was good. Totally new concept and I did not recognize the lead actor but I thought she did a great job with her mannerisims. Action packed.

I watched this movie several times with my fiancé and he was on the edge of the sofa yelling at the TV Morgan was not to be messed with! Loved it

It was a good movie. I hadn’t heard of it but the price was good. I had heard of Ridley Scott so felt it would be an exciting movie. I was right.

Movie is a little slow pace at first, but picked a bit afterward. I'm giving it a 4 star b/c of the science fiction concept of the movie.

slow start, but ultimately I enjoyed the movie and liked the the way it played out in the ending. good take on cloning and AI.

Nothing like a genetic Super Soldier film with unintended consequences. Nice twist at the end. Enjoy.

A very smartly written script, good direction and some really good acting makes for a good movie!
