This game has decent gameplay, but for $110 it isn't worth it. The $110 gets the base game and a few DLC characters, but with MK releasing more premium content not included with premium edition, it's ruining the game from over-monetization. Seriously, if I could go back 2 months I wouldn't buy it. Franchise ruined by the company's greed (not Best Buy, but still). And if the MK team reads this, you wanna know how we feel about the DLC fatalities? I'll put it this way: most of the MK fans I have as friends are not buying MK2 if it's anticipated to be ANYTHING like this with the monetization. Tekken or Smash Bros. all day.

Story mode is great! Gameplay and graphics are spectacular!

Overall, good game. The new Kameo mode adds a fun new wrinkle. The story mode is a little short, they basically created a Marvel style multiverse. The Invasion mode can get a little monotonous, but makes up for it with different rewards. Can't wait for the DLC to drop!

Great game with good graphics. Amazing steelbook . The reviews should be based on the game and not the steelbook. Perhaps maybe customer service can do something about it

I bought this for my teenage old son. He absolutely loves this game! But..said it's really hard to play on PS5 because you have to press a lot of buttons at the same time in order to have the character do different maneuvers. As a parent, I take issue with the price. Way too high, in my opinion.

Fans of the series will be pleased. I play casually and this is a good time for what it's worth. I can't comment on the high-level play. Minus 1-star for making Ermac and Quan-Chi DLC characters when they are already fleshed out in Story Mode.

this game is over the top the best !!! i have been a long time Mortal Kombat Fan since the first Game came to the Arcades. Miss the old days of throwing your .50 up on the screen for the next player. The Graphics are killer. The moves are to Die for. I can't say enough about this game.

Story is eventful and engaging. The kameo assist system provides lots of fresh combat. The menus and customization seems to have taken a step back compared to MK11. I'd recommend it, but dont expect the same level of polish as its predecessor.

Ok i been playing mortal Kombat for over 15 years and each version has out did the last one. Im using Reptile and man the animation is crazy .Cant wait for the DLC . i was skeptical about the tag characters but man this is so much fun . bye getting back on for the next match

In a year of amazing fighting games, MK1 releases and fully grabs my attention and makes me want to play it daily, simply to get better. Definiatly recomend picking this one up, especally this version because you get the Kombat Pack included. Very high recomendation.

Steelbook is ok, mainly metal looking with just the image etched on. Game is one of the best MK games to date. Plays awesome on the PS5.

This was a gift to one of my best friends, I watched her tear the whole campaign up. I'm pretty squeamish, so she helped ease me into this by watching a compilation of fatalities with me. A great gift overall.

Finally! Even though I bought this for my teens, deep down inside I also bought this for me. I am a Genxer that played the first one. This new one is amazing! Lui is finally a God!! The graphics, conquest, and fighting is 5 stars all the way! Love, love.

I really loved this most recent installment if the MK series. The story was amazing, and I enjoyed the newest features and game modes. I am just a little sad that the Krypt has been removed from the game, but other than that, i thoroughly enjoyed this game.

Great game! Graphics and gameplay improved upon since MK11. Holding back on 5 stars; waiting on additional Kombat Packs. Not very impressed with the first one; I'm not a fan of John Cena, the China Puppet.

This is the best Mortal Kombat game ever made! The game play is great, the graphics are amazing, and you can get lost for days in this game. No steel book I paid for is the only reason there aren't 5 stars.
