This the best mortal kombat period. It plays similarly to MK9 and the recent injustice. There is plenty of content for people who just want to play by themselves and also for people who want to test their might in multiplayer. There is a hefty roster of fan favorites, aside from Ermac and Reptile. The new characters are pretty cool too. This is must-have if you're a MK fan.

Overuse of the letter k aside, this is a great entry to the Mortal Kombat franchise. The fighting is fluid and there is plenty to unlock so it should keep you busy for awhile. I have had no issues with online matches and the story mode is really well put together when you factor in how over the top the franchise is. Highly recommended.

Best of the series so far... great graphics and game play

Still have gamer rewards with best buy that ends in December 2019. I get twenty percent off new game purchase. I am going to miss that program when it expires. My friend and I play this game on the xbox format at least an couple times a week. The graphics are great and the pace is fast. I like this game better than tekken 7.

I still play the last one to keep my skills fresh but cant compare playing this on a controller to a fightstick, very big difference if your coming from a arcade background. This game has amazing graphics and I only trained and played story mode which I just finished. Will definitely be in my Xbox if I'm not playing The Division Lol

Such a great game, amazing graphics, so much fun!!

First off, the game feels like it was made with squeezing as much money out of you as possible. The Krypt "reward" system hardly feels rewarding and reeks of incentivizing you to spend additional money to purchase the necessary components to unlock more gear. Your mileage may vary, but I'm not a fan of this. At face value, it's a good fighting game with some gorgeous visuals. The fighting mechanics are solid, controls feel intuitive across the board, plenty of customization options and the fatalities are gruesome and entertaining.
