Pretty decent remake. Looks great on 4K. Sound mix is excellent

Pretty okay movie. It hits in some ways and misses in others. The Mortal Kombat animated movies is where it's at, but this isn't bad. It would have been great if we had this movie years ago, but it's not quite the Mortal Kombat movie I would have liked to see after growing up with the original movies.

I have been a fan of Mortal Kombat since it first came out on video games. I also watched the previous movies and nothing compares to this one. The story and the action scenes was above and beyond then what I expected. This movie is definitely a collector's item. I can't wait to see how they are going to top this one!

Good movie, I really liked it. More graphic than the first one!

If your were ever a fan of the original arcade game and the subsequent games over the decades, this is a pretty enjoyable watch. The story itself is fairly basic with a lot of elements of fan service. The special features are pretty decent and provide some good behind the scenes looks at the making of the film.

So I’m still a fan of the original Mortal Kombat movie n not the sequel. This new version has some nice updated elements n hints at more though sometimes I wish for stand-alones n then happy when a sequel is made As for the film itself— see imdb. I liked some of the twists n others felt to predictable

Movie is the definition of "OK" great source material but sadly it was barely explored. They had a ton of characters to choose from and they decide to create a new one almost just so they have an excuse for all the explanations they had to do. With all that being said, it is still a fun movie albeit a little uneven.

I watched the first MK movie in theaters, and it was an incredible experience. This movie took me back to that time and it is a very fun movie because of the characters and how they interact with each other. The 4k presentation is very good and the Atmos sound is impressive.

I purchased the standard release (as opposed to the Best Buy Exclusive SteelBook) of Mortal Kombat (2021) [4K UHD Blu-ray + Blu-ray + Digital Copy] and couldn't be happier. Good movie that looks good on 4K.

The graphics are awesome. The story line changed from the original movies but otherwise pretty cool. The fight scenes are top notch escepially between Sub-zero and Scorpion. Had to get used to the Cole character and Kano faking like he's a good guy. All in all not bad. Waiting on the next installment with Johnny Cage.

Great movie, even if you aren’t a fan. If you are a MK die hard, I’m sure you’ve already seen it and made your decision about. As a fan, there were a few things I might have changed, but I realize it needs to appeal to a broader audience. Which I think it did quite well.

Very good reboot. Cole should have been a new game character not a new movie character. Their is to much lore to take from than to make up a new one fir a reboot.the fighting sequences were very well done. Amazing picture and sound, the disc is 100× better than the stream

It's a better representation of the gruesome action of the games, and has some fun moments and interesting stories but really falls flat with its overall narrative. Aside from Kano, the characters just aren't quite as fun either. Definately worth a black friday sale purchase though at $10.

Kano steals the whole flick...watch out for the garden gnome! I really enjoyed turning down my brain,and letting this flick take me back..Josh manages to drop,like,15 WB IP references all classic... Check the button mashing fight with Lao...funny! 4k not much better than BR..worth a look.

This 2021 version of Mortal Combat is steps above the previous version, although the 1995 version was very good... or at least, I enjoyed it. This one is more intense. A must have if you are into martial arts. The 4K is sharp and clear with extremely good sound quality.

I really liked this movie. My favorite scenes are Lieu Kang doing his bicycle against Kabal and doing his dragon Fire Fatality move and also Sub Zero entering earth realm and making it snow in April and turning Jacksons arms in ice.

The movie plays fast and loose with the game's lore, but the movie does a decent job of balancing new elements while staying true to the game overall. Some villains are shortchanged by the movie's short run-time, and the script has to develop a new story element to explain characters' powers; this is implemented a little unevenly. Acting is a mixed bag, but there are enough decent to good actors to overcome that. Action is mostly good as well, but choreography and even editing is noticeably better for the actors with heavy stunt/martial arts background. At the end of the day it tells a more or less cohesive story while leaving the door open for sequels. I think game fans will need to adjust their expectations - this is not a one-to-one mapping of the game, but that doesn't make it bad.

If you love Mortal Kombat, or action movies in general, you have to own this. Never a dull moment, great acting, and the 4K resolution is impressive. Great startup for the new sequel being worked on. Definitely has replay value!

For a video game movie it is above average. The Fight scenes and cameos of characters/gimmicks they have make the movie. It does suffer from having too large of a cast that not much exists on character development but some characters save that.

I bought a bunch of 4K DVDs when I got a 4K system. Black Friday '21 had lots of 4K DVDs on sale. Was very worth it. Not lots of 4K content out there...so the 4K DVDs are a great way to test / appreciate the 4K system
