I love this DVD/Action Figure set! It arrived in a timely manner and is a perfect addition to my Mortal Kombat collection! I highly reccomend ordering it while supplies last, there were only 10,000 of these made.

I really wish this had a been live action. Cause it is such a great animated film I can only imagine what it would look like as a live action film having the main focuses on my favorite Mortal Kombat Character Scorpion.

you know this movie is from the video games very good and with a lot of action you have to see it

After watching the movie eight days ago, I can say for sure this is the true Mortal Kombat film we all wanted to see. While it does focus on Scorpion, it also blends itself as a semi-retelling of the 1995 live action adaptation that many of us remembered. As of now, this current movie is a lot more fun in comparison to the original. The most important part is that it is rated R unlike the previous one which was PG-13. This film contains a lot more brutal moments that every Mortal Kombat fan should come to expect. If you are familiar with the 2011 video game reboot, you might have noticed the x-ray technique in the fight scenes. Whenever I watch those creative moments on screen, I become so enthralled by the beauty of the action sequences. To everybody who may or may not be too familiar with the long running franchise, this is definitely a must watch, and I can not wait for what the creators will do next in the upcoming installment of "Mortal Kombat: Legends."

Love this movie!! Watched it over and over. Great movie!!

The special features add a nice touch and the audio commentary is the best one. This is MK's first attempt with anime and it was a success. This changes some of the story and a few character arcs but nothing big. Overall, a nice throwback to Defenders of the Realm but with an anime twist and not-so-kid-friendly. The figure is very small and comes as one-piece, built into a stand, like an oversized army figurine. There is room in the box to replace the plastic case with a steelbook. The 4K video and sound were sharp and clear. Word of caution: This is very violent and to date the most violent video released by the MK team. If you let your kids play the games then it's OK for them to own - the games are more violent.

Mortal Kombat coming to the R-rated world of animation is a welcome addition, but it’s a franchise that‘s always struggled to translate to the other media. It turns out that animation is the perfect realm for Mortal Kombat to work in. The violence is gratuitous, but necessary to show the true horrors of what the story is all about. As far as voice acting goes, casting was very well done here and in some cases could work well for live action (Joel McHale as Johnny Cage). The Scorpion figure is cool too considering there will probably not be another version made based off his appearance in the film.

Great animated movie! The franchise gets to take a huge leap forward from the benefit of years in maturation and character development to deliver a cohesive storyline and narrative that goes beyond the 2-dimensional world of the side scrolling fighting games, much in the same way the recent games have. This is a great entry point for any modest fans of the franchise to familiarize you with some of the most iconic, long-standing characters of the franchise and puts forth a solid, succinct story that sets up well to the sequel.

I bought this movie because it is based on the Mortal Kombat game series. This is an R rated movie and not for kids. There is a lot of gore and some harsh language. This movies audience is adult. The story is about the Mortal Kombat tournament. And also about the relationship between Scorpion and Subzero. If you like the Mortal Kombat series you won't be disappointed. This is a good movie for what it is. I recommend this movie for Mortal Kombat fans.

Mortal Kombat is known for its extreme violence and gore. It is very fantastical stylized violence and gore - so if you're an adult and you enjoyed the original live action movie, and many/most of the games, you will have a good time and likely give this movie a couple of views. It works as a single story, centering on Scorpion, but also sets up for sequels. The animation is solid, on par with many of the DC animated universe stuff, and the action is intense and super violent, just like the latest games. Recommended for any Mortal Kombat fan.

Not for kids. A lot of blood guts and brain matter. For the story line another version of mortal combat, including the back story of Scorpion. If you have never played the game,or watched any version of movie, tv show, or animated show, not a problem. You will not be lost is the story. And if you have played or seen all of the above. Not a problem. It's a fun addition. Well worth watching

While WB superhero movies are hit or miss, they always knock the animated ones out the park. That same winning streak extends to this Mortal Kombat animated spin off. I really enjoyed watching this after watching the recent live action movie. It's a nice mix of old and new timelines for fans. The gore is turned up to 11, so I wouldn't recommend this one for kids. While it doesn't reinvent anything in the MK universe, I highly recommend it for fans of the series.

Great action pack animation movie! Old school video game bringing me to the arcades, nostalgia. Great for the whole family, fun and exciting Adventure movie, just like playing the video game. Very entertaining, you will to enjoy it! Your favorite video game characters comes to life. Sub-Zero and Scorpion battle it out till the end,who will win? By the Blu-ray and you will find out.

I really liked the movie. Showed alot on why scorpion became scorpion and his thirst for vengeance. Tons of references to the games and the other characters were great as well. Lots of gore, good fights. If you love mortal kombat and scorpion you'll enjoy this
