well what can I say this is Mortal Kombat at its best! love the game play and the new Kyrpt is cool too. the only downside is the character selection they took away the Cyborg ninjas and some of the old school characters ugh but other then that the game is great!

Pretty much Injustice. Moves are performed the same way. Graphics come as expected on the XBox One. Finishing moves are gory...no other way to describe. May not be suitable for younger kids. Gameplay is nice and the campaign follows a storyline. I have yet to play the multiplayer online yet but friends who have like it. Not much replay value, but I'm more of a Madden guy.

This is a great pickup for anyone looking to boost their Xbox One game library: amazing graphics, killer finishing moves, and a wide variety of characters and specializations to kick some *** with! This would be a hard game to pass up on for any serious gamer.

Good: Fatalities and gameplay is good. story is interesting, achievements (for those that get them) are time consuming but fairly easy. many game modes to choose from Bad: some online servers are still a bit rough, region locked. no more 2v2, its 1v1 only now

If you loved the original mortal combat, this game is sure to make you nostalgic. Mortal Combat X does an excellent job of amalgamating an enormous cast of avatars from the many previous generations of the game into a balanced fighting game while maintaining the game-feel of the original Mortal Combat. Overall, it is perfectly polished. The hit boxes are spot on, the controls are tight (but not too tight), and the graphics are crisp and breathe new life into old characters. Personally, I'm having a boatload of fun with this game - 5 stars!

Neatherealm really hit the mark with the 10th installment of Mortal Kombat. They took all of the good elements from previous games in the series and adapated them into a very beautifully made game. Even for a non seasoned fighting gamer, the game is a blast.

IT TOOK ME A MINUTE TO REALIZE, TO UNLOCK STORY MODE YOU HAD TO MAKE SURE THAT THE GAME WAS FULLY INSTALLED AND GO THROUGH THE IN GAME TUTORIAL. OTHER THAN THAT, THE GRAPHICS ARE AMAZING, AND X-RAY IS A COOL NEW FEATURE DURING FIGHTS. NOT MUCH HAS CHANGED FROM THE OLDER VERSIONS OF MK: STILL HAVE STORY MODE, BATTLE, KRYPT, ETC. ALL IN ALL VERY FUN WITH NEW CHARACTERS!

Love the new and added charactees and the kombos!! Graphics are great.

Everything in the game flows nicely together. From story mode which is pretty good, to the unlocking of in-game items through the Krypt. The developers put a ton of time into this game and it shows. Buy the Kombat Pack. Jason and Predator are worth it.

I really thought this was going to be another lame rehash in Mortal Kombat series. This game actually turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The graphics and animations are sick and the game play is very much like the arcade style we all grew up playing.

This game is very action filled for the platform style it is on. This took several days to beat. I would recommend this game to anyone who likes this style. You also have the multi-player/co-op option which is good so you are able to play with friends!

The design is beautiful, the game is challenging, It has a great story connecting to the MK9 story mode. It takes some getting used to the slowness of some characters and bulkiness of some of the controls, but still provides an enjoyable play through.

So hard to perfect the combos, and I feel like I am button mashing a lot of the time, but overall this is most certainly among the better games to have come out on the xbox one so far, up there with Shadow of Mordor, easily my favorite game so far.

This newest edition into the MK franchise is simply amazing. It is fluid and flows so smoothly, and Kombos are easily pulled off with little effort. Plus, with DLC characters like the Predator and Jason Vorhees, you really can't go wrong here.

this game is everything I should have thought it would be just finishing the artwork camera shots all the characters bring back a lot of memories from the late 90thI love enjoy beating my wife at this game this game is for males as well as female

they have definitely took it to another level! awesome story mode, new characters, new moves, new brutalities, and fatalities. new 1st person mode called "krypt". graphics are obviously graphic lol if you don't have this game you should get it!

Ive played Mortal Kombat a lot growing up. Every since the very first one in the arcade. This is definitely the best one to date. It takes all the great gameplay from every MK game throughout the years and place it into the best MK game ever.

As a longtime fan of the Mortal Kombat series, this is by far my favorite game. The add-on characters are great (Predator is my new favorite) and you can't beat the classic character moves and fatalities, and the brutalities are insane.
