No gimmicks or new ways to play that make things confusing. Pick from your favorite characters and have a good old fashioned brawl. Fatalities could be a bit more dramatic but that is just picking at straws.

Game was easy to find however...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Its a shame that the GM of the store would not lift a silly $150 charge he could not justify or explain correctly as it prevented a larger $1400 purchase. Shame as I have enjoyed my larger purchases there (with installs and 5 year warranty) and was more disappointed when emailed his boss and never even got a response. I will take my business and my home theater needs elsewhere

Taking MK to new heights

NetherRealm studios did a fantastic job with the new characters! Easily the most fluid MK to date. Look forward to playing long hours and mastering as many characters as I can =)

Great Imagery

Not like the game I remember when I was a kid but on a brilliant HDTV the color is nice and the imagery is even better. This game sucks in even non-avid gamers.

Great story that picks up where the last MK game left off from. Lots of replay value and many challenges to overcome. Be warned the game does have micro-transaction which you will run into at some point and that is my only gripe about the game. If you like Mortal Kombat games then you will enjoy Mortal Kombat X.
