If you like Mortal Kombat you will like this game.

It's much like MK9 with a 3-4 hour single player story that's meh and a ton of extra modes to keep you busy. Biggest downside is the sheer amount of micro transactions that stare you in the face during the game. From Goro to "easy fatalities" it does take away from the core game. Still fun to play with friends though.

The game was great. The story was fun to play through. I kinda wish it brought back the tag team multiplayer from Mortal Kombat 9. But other than that, if you are a fan of Mortal Kombat, you should not miss this game.

The best thought out Mortal Kombat yet. The net code is spot on and with a good connection plays like you are in the same room. If you enjoy fighting games of any type, this one is a must own in your collection. Enjoy.

Has all the fighting and normal Mortal Kombat things we've grown accustomed to as fans of the series. But also has the element of story behind the characters before fights. Very nice and lots of replayability here.

Mortal Kombat is a good game. There are a few frame rate issues but not enough to take away from game. Also when initial purchase game had loading and installing issues seems to be fixed now. This game is not or the faint of heart the finishing moves are very graphic and should be for mature audience. Sorry kids!!

so, all those great reviews by so many players can't be wrong? a definite true. they are on the money. excellent game. you will not drop that controller till either battery dies or got to eat. get it and have fun.

I was very excited to hear about the release of this game. I bought it for the Xbox one and I love the graphics (especially the fatalities!) bit the controls are a little tough to get figured out. I suggest using the d-pad instead of the joy stick.

I love the graphics and characters. Overall I would give it a 10 if I could. Thats how much I like the game.

It's not 100% good story, more like 85% good. And the reason of me giving that percentage because they don't explain at all everyone's background what happens they show what currently happen and what you must do avoid the danger of earth realm. But everything else is is great I give an 1-10 scale an 8.

After not having played any Mortal Kombat since.... MK3? I would recommend this game to people who enjoy fighting games. While somewhat redundant (in the fact that the power moves replay the same animation, ) the story mode adds a nice touch to this series and touches upon a lot of old characters.

Story mode is cool. Haven't played Mortal Kombat in like 6 years so it was cool to actual learn about the characters. Online is great, so many options and towers to keep the game interesting.

Graphics have improved and gameplay a little bit. Overall the game to me is less frustrating than Mortal kombat 9. Good storyline. It should be only worth $30 with all DLC. once you beat the game its replay value is horrible.

I was a little skeptical of spending $60 on a mortal kombat game but I am happy that I did. The game has a great story line and a very improved fighting engine. This is a great multiplayer game and is fun both online and just playing by yourself like on the old arcade style games.

This game is worth the money if you are a mortal kombat fan. Although it is missing some of my favorite characters, it still has a wide range to choose from and this game won't let you down

Despite IGN review this game history mode is the best, it takes around 4-5 hours first time a fight game has amazing story mode, large roster 3 variations each one deep replayability!
