Great game awesome graphics I use to play this game as a kid and for the company to bring it back it feels like when I was a kid but now he game is just more advanced.

Bought this since I haven't played Mortal Kombat for years and it was well worth the wait. The graphics, story line and fatalities have surpassed my expectations. Overall this is a great game and I'm glad I got it at a great price.

Mortal Kombat remains one of the best console fighting games. Everything's there that you would expect - a lot of characters, including most of the past favorites, various fighting stances for each character, x-rays, and fatalities. The XL version includes all of the available DLC characters and costumes without needing to input any codes or download anything. It's a fun fighter that includes decent single-player modes and activities (campaign, towers, the krypt) and obviously great local and online multiplayer. Many people who haven't played Mortal Kombat X may also be happy that the weirdly sexist (i.e., made for teenage boys) female character designs from the last Mortal Kombat have been much improved as well.

Mortal Kombat on PlayStation is absolutely epic! The graphics are amazing, the gameplay is fast and smooth, and each character has unique moves and brutal finishers. Story mode is exciting, and online fights are intense. It’s one of the best fighting games ever made. A must-have for fans!

I play this game with my GF and we love it! The Krytpt is spooky and better than MK9! Those jump scares get me every time, lol. Story mode is better as well, since you can replay & re watch scenes already completed. The Xray attacks are awesome! The fatalities are awesome! And having the Predator, Alien, Jason, and Leatherface as bonus characters is AWESOME!! I'l liked MK9 having Freddy Kruger & Kratos too, but MK XL has taken it to the next level! Lots of fun and not too complicated for a casual fan. Great buy for $20 too!

Let’s just get this out of the way: Mortal Kombat XL is the best Mortal Kombat, period. It’s deeper, mechanically richer, and more fully featured than any of the nine games before it, hands down.
On top of that, developer NetherRealm Studios has taken a bunch of risks by adding eight entirely new characters to the MK roster, while introducing fun, distinct variations to returning ones.
Each of these risks pays off to varying degrees, but they also serve to highlight some of the ways in which the franchise is stuck in the past. As a whole, Mortal Kombat XL is an excellent fighter, and the most fun I’ve ever had with a Mortal Kombat game.

Mortal kombat x continues to remind us why MK is one of the top fighting video game franchises ever. If you like mortal kombat even a little then im sure you'll love this as well.

This is a sequel to Mortal Kombat (9). If your into the story you should play or watch scenes of the previous games. There's classic characters in the game as well as brand new ones. Some are more interesting than others.
Graphics look nice.
Gameplay is similar. The fighting is familiar to all MK players. What they changed was the style. Characters have around 3 different fighting style. This is cool idea but also a negative. Example is subzero. You have to choose between having ice weapons, ice clone, or another ability. You can't have all 3. It's a bummer for classic characters but not newer ones in my opinion. They also got rid of the 2v2 which was so much fun. A shame.
Another issue are the characters. You fight some in story mode but you can't in in versus. Also previous DLC characters don't make a return (I miss Kratos).

‘We got a guy with things comin’ out of his hands, we got another guy who freezes stuff, and then there’s a man, who as far as I can tell, is made out of electricity. I mean, how did he disappear like that? What is goin’ on here? WHO IS THIS GUY?’
Probably the best Mortal Kombat ever made. Great characters, gameplay, huge story mode, bunch of unlockables, etc.
And for 20 dollars? Fatality! Flawless Victory.
Get it.
