My headset Broke and I needed something right away. They were out of my replacement set and My sales person Rez suggested this product. I purchased it quickly. I needed something right then. I was headed to an appt out of town. I Paired it to my phone and it was charged enough to operate and had me back in operation within minutes. After wearing for a couple of hours it was a little uncomfortable in my ear but the sound quality was great.

This boom 2 is a great light clear sounding bluetooth there is i had the first one and this. One is a good upgrade great battery life . Plays music also very clear.

I liked this Bluetooth so my after my dog chewed the first one, I stepped on the second one and I bought the third one. I modified the last one with a different earpiece which works so much better than the factory options. I can pretty much jump around and not have the Bluetooth fall out. The sound quality and noise canceling are awesome.

After giving a good review, the boom broke off. Their warranty process is tedious and has so far not been fruitful. I had a very bad experience with a Motorola product 18 years ago and have basically boycotted them since then. I thought I'd give them a second chance on the bluetooth. This one worked well for a while, but broken is broken. Maybe in 18 years I'll buy another product from them.

I brought my first boom 2 headset in August and by October I was back to purchase another one because the piece that flips broke. So I purchased the Boom 2+ headset. Needless to say it is December and the Boom 2+ that I brought in October the flip has broken on it.

After 2 months of use it broke the lower part of the Bluetooth ,very fragile , unfortunately can't use it anymore , I will try to contact Motorola customer service so I can replace it.

I really like the earpiece. I have tried other brands and types but this one seems to have to best sound, stays put on my ear, and distance away from phone. My only problems is I keep breaking the flip.

Got this as a replacement for my original Boom Bluetooth. So far so good. Sound is clear and has great charging life. The only thing I wish they would do is have a more comfortable ear hook. After a few hours my ear is sore where it digs in. Bought the warranty on this one too because there seems to be a weakness in the hinge design that after opening and closing over time it cracks off. For the price it was, if I would have paid out of pocket, wasn't bad but I would purchase a warranty.

Pros - Excellent sound, lots of volume, flip closed to off. Cons - flip closure frequently breaks off. Not built to last.

I love this bluetooth. The only one I will ever buy. Sound is very clear and loud. Only downfall is the piece that fold open and close that turns the bluetooth on/off after time will sometimes break causing the bluetooth not to work. BUT thanks to the protection plan provided by Best Buy all I have to do is swap it out. After three have broke I have tried several others but nothing compares to clear sound and volume I get from the Boom. I wish motorola with make a boom that the piece does not fold. I know some may say how can I give it five stars when it has broke and needed to be replaced several times???? The sound and quality supercedes everything. My favorite bluetooth!

For a first timer trying out a bluetooth hands-free earpiece, I was pleasantly surprised at how simple it was to set up. Although I hadn't read any online reviews before purchasing, I did ask a lot of questions of the sales associate in the store and was therefore very lucky to find out that this particular model can be used on either the left or right ear which turned out to be super important. I took it for granted that they would all be that way, "duh" but this was actually the ONLY model out of several in the store that is "ambilobus". The sound quality is really excellent if you just need to talk and listen to talking. I haven't explored the available downloadable Motorola-only app yet. I am hoping that it would allow me to verbally command a call out from my phone book, but I have no idea if that's the case. If not, that would be the next great feature I would be looking for in an upgraded version of this type of devise. Overall, I give it 4 stars, just because there may be a 5th star waiting somewhere when I get more familiar with using it. But that's a pretty good score for a newbie non-sophisticate like me! The price was right too for a low risk investment on a new basic thingamajig.

Very easy to use and light weight on my ear. I wish there was more battery life than advertised but it’s not a big deal since the sound clarity is amazing and my dad said on his end he couldn’t even tell i was on a Bluetooth earpiece. Usually I buy Plantronics so this is my first earpiece by another brand -I’m pleasantly surprised!

Needed a new Bluetooth and got the one I wanted and it was on sale. Like the way it alerts U to the amount of talk time available and warns low battery. The sound is crisp and clear in your ear. The wrap is a little snug at first but easily adjusted.

I have owned many Motorola headsets with the boom. They are great, they are light on the ear, sound good. Problem is the technology on the boom makes them weak and they break often. This is my last if the results are the same.

I have had quite a few bluetooth earpieces. This one has excellent sound. It is a bit large in the ear, but I have gotten used to it. The flip piece for the microphone is a convenient way of turning it on and off. When the piece is flipped to the open position, it takes about 2 seconds for the mike to completely deploy. The battery charges quickly and seems to hold a charge for me all day.

Use this headset at work to listen to music. Good sound for the price. Fits well in your ear without falling out. Comfortable to wear for long periods of time.

Great range. Decent sound. Wish it was a bit louder. But my hearing is awful. Great for someone who needs one but doesn't require the best.

This is my first Bluetooth headset and it's great. I thought about getting ear buds but read a review that said clothing & earings scratch against the mic so I went with the Boom 2. Charge lasts a long time, good sound quality and comfortable for a couple of hours at a time. Easy hook up, too.
