    Great phone with awesome battery!

If you are going to buy this phone, get it from Best Buy! They are the only ones that offer the blue color and also have the great deal of getting the phone for just $1 on contract. I was at the Verizon store the same day I ended up purchasing this phone from the Best Buy just down the street and in the Verizon store which was charging $200 on contract for the same phone. The specs on this phone are great and it runs just as smooth as you would expect. I typically don't get the full 48 hours that it suggests that you will get with the battery, but I regularly get 36 hours which is more than enough with the quick charging that will charge it from 0 to 100% in just about an hour and a half. This has been a great phone, and I have already owned it for almost a year! I highly recommend getting this phone. The turbo 2 that will be coming out will be very similar too, so check it out in just a few months. It is supposed to have built in wireless charging!

I have used Motorola phones since I first started with Verizon in 2009. I upgraded from a Droid RAZR M to the Droid Turbo and I couldn't be happier. After the disappointment of the RAZR M I was a little skeptical, but after using this phone for a while I can say it delivers exactly what Motorola promises. It has phenomenal battery life and the I have yet to max out the processor even during some extreme multi tasking. I highly recommend this phone for anyone looking for a quality device.

    Update: Droid Turbo 2

Had the phone for over 6 months and i have no complaints, if your in the market for a new phone that does quick charge, had a great OLED 2k screen and love moto assist then here you go. However if you could wait a month or so i would highly recommend it seeing how the Droid Turbo 2 is coming out and it reported that it has a shatter proof screen.

Excellent phone now with the Advanced calling 1.0

Battery is good, I read the early reviews which caused me to wait until they added Advanced Calling 1.0 to buy this phone and I love it. The Moto features are great, including the reading my text when I'm driving and the auto functions. It has a great battery life. With light use, I easily make the 48 hrs but with my usual use I get about a day and a half. On days that I'm all over it I get about 30 hrs. I make sure I end the task when I'm not using the phone though. Two things I wish were different, SD memory, and Speakers for music. But it's not unbearable, i just prefer to not use the cloud.

    Big Upgrade from an iPhone

The only thing I do not like about this phone is the email deleting. This has t be done one message at a time. Hopefully an upgrade will fix this. Camera is awesome, apps are easy to use, the MOTO feature is pretty cool. I got the Blue and my daughter got the red, we got cases right off the bat and have not had any issues. I did notice the phone puts off a lot of heat. Might just be me.

I was so pumped to get the Droid Turbo and was moving up from a Galaxy S3. What a huge disappointment !!! Sure it is faster and the camera is better but there is NO volume. I like the bigger screen phones because I figure that is what your looking at. I like to watch videos, music and such and really want some volume which just isn't there. I am only two days in so will probably take this phone back. My wife has always had Iphones yet I never wanted to drink the "Kool-Aid" yet when I hear her new 6 it blows me away with it's sound. I want a bigger screen and bigger sound !!!! Any Suggestions ????

    countdown to return to Apple

i am being generous with 3 stars. I left Apple products because of lack of upgrades in camera. The droid gets very hot, while using gps for less than half hour phone got extremely hot and froze up. As for the massive battery, it does great if you don't use phone for anything otherwise it may get you a couple more hours than iPhone 5. The camera is good however I have not printed off yet. Storage at 32gb is good however the pluses to this phone is not worth the downside and no the battery is not a plus as I said it's just a little better.

My last phone was the Droid RazrM. I was afraid this one would be too big, but the size is perfect even for my small hands. The functions were very similar to my old phone, so I transitioned easily to the new one. Before buying it, I read all the reviews about the other phones out there and realized that this was the best. Also couldn't beat the price $1. For anyone interested, the Blue Ballistic Nylon does not have "Verizon" written anywhere on it.

Very easy to use. Plenty of storage space. Its case protects it enough so that purchasing an additional protective case is not necessary. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

    Best American Made Android Phone

Haven't upgraded to Android L. It is a Verizon-made upgrade and not officially from Moto. Waiting for the Android L upgrade to stabilize a bit before making the move.

    Very poor durability

I purchased this phone and it worked well for 31 days. It was sitting in the cup holder of my car when I hit a (small!) pothole and the screen shattered. I purchased the upgraded warranty from Best Buy but they won't cover a screen replacement. They wanted $150 and 2 weeks without the phone to send it away to fix it (31 days! with upgraded warranty!). There is a 1-time screen replacement available through Verizon for the Droid Turbo, but it applies to every other color except BLUE because they don't sell the BLUE one. My lowest-cost option was to send it to Motorola and get a refurbished replacement phone for $125. I have had all sorts of electronics for years and never had anything break so easily. I will not be returning as a Best Buy customer as they did not stand behind this defective product. I suspect Verizon knows there is a defect in this product - that's why they offer the 1-time screen replacement - but the BLUE version is a Best Buy "Exclusive" and they don't offer the same consumer protection.

      Hello Peeved,

The screen on the Droid Turbo is built tough with Gorilla Glass, but keep in mind it's still glass and can be broken. That being said, the Blue Droid Turbo does have a screen assurance, please give them a call again and inquire about it.

No where that I have found says that the "blue" turbo isn't covered under the screen assurance program offered through Verizon and Motorola but it isn't covered. Verizon, Motorola, nor Bestbuy will cover the screen without you paying minimum 150 dollars
