Noticeably faster speeds! This item was extremely easy to setup and activate. All you need to do is insert the cables provided, tighten the coaxial cord, and call your internet service provider. I've gone through a few different modems/routers, and this was by far the easiest to install. You can go to the domain and customize name/password for the connection. There is also the 5G WiFi signal, for compatible devices. All devices connected, and have had no issues with dropping signal. The price is great compared to similar modem+WiFi router combos

I had purchased a Netgear 6 months ago that went bad and they offered NO support for their product. So I contacted Comcast and they recommended the Motorola, Easy set up. I run my entire house off wireless internet, lights, thermostat, cell phones, I pad, PC, Alarm, Security Cameras, Refrigerator and TVs. I have no problem everything is fast and never looses connection. Wish I had purchased this instead of the garbage NetGear. I recommend to everyone I speak to about my Wireless home.

Didn’t realize I’ve had this modem for over 5 years, purchased in 2017. Was thinking of upgrading to a new wifi6 modem router to go with my new pc, however this one has been solid and still works very well. Paid over $300 for it over 5 years ago, but I’ve gotten my moneys worth. I’ve decided to keep it as have had no real issues. Only thing that could be better is my wifi tv doesn’t get a really good signal. I fixed without having to purchase an extender by just placing it with a direct line to the bedroom. It helped a lot.

Easy setup and fast speed. Best part was returning my Xfinity modem back to them and saving the extra fee on my cable bill every month.
Money well spent!

Works great for streaming even from the opposite end of the house about 70 feet away. Ps4 was a little slow at 80 feet. After 3 months there have been no glitches.

Ok so I am not tech savvy. All I knew was that my old router wasn’t working properly because it kept dropping my WiFi requiring me to reset it constantly. I tried a well know router brand (name whom I won’t mention) but it was horrible, the tv screens kept pixelating. So I bought this unit, which said it had the same technical features as the other brand, such as number of channels etc, and this one performed amazing!! No breaks in streaming throughout a 1500 sq ft house. And my son can play Xbox and have a laptop in use and 2 WiFi connected Netflix’s TVs on in house and no one has interrupted or slow WiFi service. Setup was super easy, and no more modem fees, yay! Highly recommend!

After suffering for two years with the crappy router/modem from Spectrum I finally broke down and bought this. Now I feel so foolish for putting up with the old one! Since I hooked this up we have not lost connection on any device once with the old one we lost connections sometimes six or seven times a day and were always having to reset it as well..and it doubled the range of the old one as well. Both bands come thru strong even outside my house. We have a booster and don’t use it anymore...we are able to have PS4 online, a laptop gaming online and two more laptops surfing and watch Netflix with no issues all at the same time. I hope it lasts! But so far it is better than I had even hoped for.

Works great with Xfinity Internet

I have Xfinity internet package with up to 150 mbps speed. This modem/router has been working great. I've been using it for a year now with no issues. My previous modems and Wi-Fi routers needed restarting often. I needed to restart this only a few times in the last 1 year, they mostly had nothing to do with the modem itself but more with the service. Plus, having a modem + Wi-Fi router in one device is pretty nice.
Its range is very good as well. I used to live in a townhouse and this modem was in 1st floor, and I could comfortably use internet on my mobile devices on 3rd floor. We could easily stream 1080p content on 2nd floor. I didn't need boosters or anything.

Excellent WiFi/Modem/Router

This is an excellent WiFi/Modem/Router according to my initial experience (less than 6 months) with it.
It achieves full speed, has been reliable, is easy to set-up and my ISP (SparkLight) activated it without any fuss at all (it was up and running pithing 90 seconds of them sending the activate command.
This saves me from paying the ISP the monthly rental fee for the modem.
It has 4 ethernet ports which is important to me because I have several devices the require Internet connections and they all only have ethernet connectors.

To keep the story short, I have a two story house around 1400 sf and recently had a roomate move in. We have two ps4s , cell phones, laptops and smart appliances including doorbell cams and locks. We needed a better router and went through 3 of them over a 30 day period. Routers we went with ranged between $150-$400. What we found was that the more expensive router didnt translate to being the better router. The motorola AC1900 was the “right” router/modem combo for our needs and has given us the best speeds and range I have ever had. Figure out which combo works for you but I woukd recommend this one for people with a like-situation and setup. Also I have Comcast.

Great modem for Comcast & Xfinity. Was super easy to set up and get up and going. I was able to plug in the Ethernet cord and activate it online so it might have taken 30-45 minutes to download and set everything up. Well worth the money and ease of setting up. Would recommend and buy again. As far as the range and service seems to be able to reach backyard and have enough capability to power several devices and two smart tv’s at the same time.

I bought this router because I had to switch from AT&T fiber to Xfinity. Doing so allowed me to avoid the $20 a month rental fee from Comcast. It was very easy to set up and has been working great. Also it came in at a very comptetive price point for all that it can do. I'm very satisfied with it.
