Setup was easy. Just connected the coax cable, worked through the basic setup instructions included in the booklet, and I was good to go. The good: Excellent little router. We can connect up to 10 devices pretty easily without any noticeable decrease in speed. This is including 1 ethernet connection. Speed is excellent (or rather, it hits the upper limit from my provider, which is 100 mbps). The bad: Nothing. The ugly: Every once in a while -I'd say maybe once or twice a week, the wifi just dies. Usually the router auo-restarts and fixes it, so we don't really see an issue - at most, we have to wait through about 30s of buffering. But sometimes, it does not restart, so I have to restart the gateway through my provider. Fortunately, there is an app for that (TM) so it takes about 2 minutes, but it would be a hassle if one had to go directly to the ISP to do this.

Didn’t realize I’ve had this modem for over 5 years, purchased in 2017. Was thinking of upgrading to a new wifi6 modem router to go with my new pc, however this one has been solid and still works very well. Paid over $300 for it over 5 years ago, but I’ve gotten my moneys worth. I’ve decided to keep it as have had no real issues. Only thing that could be better is my wifi tv doesn’t get a really good signal. I fixed without having to purchase an extender by just placing it with a direct line to the bedroom. It helped a lot.

I decided to replace my old modem and wireless router (separate components) with a combination router/modem. While the old modem and router still functioned, their speeds were not up to the capabilities of the internet provider. Plus, I wanted to upgrade to a dual-band router. This Motorola router/modem was one of several approved by the internet provider. So far, I am very pleased with the look and functionality of this component. It was simple to set up, and has performed admirably. Coverage is great, and speeds are noticeably better. It has a small footprint, which was personally important, as I have limited space. I highly recommend it.

I joined the "cut the cord" crowd. Puchased my Motorola AC1900, turned in my xfinity equipment, and wished I have made the move earlier. The range is better then my xfinity gear. I use both bands and love it. Video streamers on 5. data users on 2.4. Xbox and TV hard wired. Ten total devices (without company, with company add 4 more devices), and the Motorola handles it. Had it a month, never had to reboot. Simple install. Definitely happy with my purchase.

I purchased this cable modem to replace the leased cable modem from my internet provider to save the monthly cost and to hopefully increase reliability and speed. In the 3 weeks that I have had this unit I think that I have done both. I immediately noticed a significant increase in the speed that web sites download and open. I have streamed 4K Netflix video with no problems. I also used a Wi-Fi signal strength meter before disconnecting my old cable modem and recorded the strength at different locations and notice an improved level of signal strength with the new Motorola unit. I had a question on setup and called Motorola customer service and was immediately connected to an individual who answered my question. So far I am pleased with this purchase.

Bought this duel router to replace the one I was renting from Comcast. Works just as well if not better than the rented unit. I have more devices than i thought i did, as i found out when i had to change every one, but I have had absolutely no problems. All my kids have tablets, phones, echo dots as well as my security cameras, laptops and TV and absolutely no connectivity problems. I have a two story house and no real dead spots. As i save money from Comcast renting their equipment, I would say this is a premium router if your looking into the duel router/modem design

Works great for streaming even from the opposite end of the house about 70 feet away. Ps4 was a little slow at 80 feet. After 3 months there have been no glitches.

Replaced older and separate Arris modem and Apple router. Improvement in reliability and in particular speed was remarkable at 4 to 5 times what it had been. The speed was maintained in a range throughout out our approximately 2000 sq ft single story home. Set up was fairly easy although did have to contact Spectrum directly by phone but it was done in minutes. Bought one a few months ago for a family member who lives in a Comcast area and was able to set up without contacting Comcast directly by phone. The speed and reliability improvement in that case was equally impressive. Good product.

I needed to increase my internet speed after my old router/modem couldn't keep up. I went from a download speed of 5 to over three digits. I like that I can use one band for TV and phone and the second one for laptop and computer to cut down on competing devices slowing it down. Great buy.

I had purchased a Netgear 6 months ago that went bad and they offered NO support for their product. So I contacted Comcast and they recommended the Motorola, Easy set up. I run my entire house off wireless internet, lights, thermostat, cell phones, I pad, PC, Alarm, Security Cameras, Refrigerator and TVs. I have no problem everything is fast and never looses connection. Wish I had purchased this instead of the garbage NetGear. I recommend to everyone I speak to about my Wireless home.

Having to reset my old cable modem just about every day I was looking for something that I wouldn't have to worry about. After a month I haven't had to reset this one time. I had a wifi extender before but haven't even plugged it in and getting better wi fi coverage then before.

Great modem for Comcast & Xfinity. Was super easy to set up and get up and going. I was able to plug in the Ethernet cord and activate it online so it might have taken 30-45 minutes to download and set everything up. Well worth the money and ease of setting up. Would recommend and buy again. As far as the range and service seems to be able to reach backyard and have enough capability to power several devices and two smart tv’s at the same time.

Easy to use, great range, fast speed. Better than the router they send you for internet and no monthly fee. No brainer.

So far so good, been 4 months and getting better speeds and much better wifi range. I love the Modem and have had no problems with it since installation.I got it set up in less than 10 minutes.I did need to call Xfinity support to remove the rented modem from my account and activate this one. The call to Xfinity went smoothly with no problems.Providing a strong WiFi signal in every corner of our 4000 square foot house.I am very pleased with it. Very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend.
