App Suggestion Feature Is a Bummer

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As is standard operating procedure, the Motorola Edge comes with sponsored bloatware pre-installed (e.g facebook, whatsapp, linkedin, etc...). However, Motorola makes it hilariously difficult to get rid of these apps. After disabling the app suggestion "feature" in settings, the bloatware you uninstalled gradually return one-by-one as grayed out apps in your app drawer as "suggestions." These suggestions cannot be removed. After downloading and uninstalling the bloatware SEVERAL times, the apps seem to be gone... until they reappear yet again. A quick Google search shows you're going to have issues if you want these app suggestions gone. The phone works fine. It's a good size, fast, and well built. However, the persistent, insistent, somewhat aggressive app suggestion feature was a dealbreaker. It's not as if there aren't other options.

An Awesome screen and cameras. Great in hand feel!

The Mediatek 7400 is a smooth processor that does well in the summer heat. I do not see any lag. The screen is wonderfully bright and the cameras are top notch this year. My favorite thing about this device is the size. One handed use is alive and well with such a thin phone and it is not too tall or heavy like some of the slabs out there that look and feel more like a floor tile. Well done Motorola. Next year a better color selection would be much appreciated. That is my only gripe. Why do the Moto G Power 2025 and Stylus 2025 which are lower range phones get much nicer and brighter colors? Sometimes I can see a little green but this phone looks dark brown in most situations unless under direct sunlight. Other than that, I am highly pleased!!

It was really easy to transfer all of my data to the new phone. Being so new it is a little harder to get certain accessories for it (an Otter box case). I am happy with the phone and enjoy finding out all of the updated things this one does over my old phone.

The Best Phone Ever

She absolutely loves this phone especially with how fast it is and how it preforms on her every day tasks. Her favorite part is probably the curve on phone its a really slick looking phone and honestly looks awesome. Definitely recommend this phone to anyone looking for a really great phone for a decent price.

Good performance throughout. Photos have plenty of detail and don't seem over sharpened. No real issue with focus hunting and night photos turn out fine. Phone never gets hot in day to day use. No issues on any of the three networks. Cases are hard to come by and good glass screen protectors are non existent due to the curved edges and the phone not being popular.

When you enter in the best buy, you enter with trust and come out with confidence that you got something good with backing of Best Buy. Moto edge is good value for money where you got high end performance in reasonable price. Camera is fantastic, battery runs whole day, I don't charge more than once a day. My last phone was Moto and I again bought Moto.

I fix phones so I'm always hesitant to switch to a new device and this one is great! My device isn't slow, things load quickly. I'm a delivery driver and so getting orders first is a priority for me and this one makes me money! I'm thinking of getting a second one for my son! The battery is also one of the best I've had in a while! It last forever on such low battery percentage.. 90
