    Great Battery Life

I chose this phone mainly because of the long battery life and that it was a name brand phone. This is my first time purchasing a Motorola and if it was not for the majority of good reviews I would of left this in the store. I'm glad I didn't. I had my phone now for six days now and I've had no issues. I didn't have a hard time finding free apps or setting up. Of course I had to get use to all the widgets and buttons on the phone but I like how this phone keeps me organized. I really like the app Alert that was already pre downloaded on the phone and after downloading several apps I still had a lot of space left. Also, I like how if I add contacts in this phone the default backup is to google contacts because I loss half of my contacts forgetting to back up contacts to google in my old phone which was a used HTC Inspire. I use to put my phone on silent when sleeping now the phone knows the hours I sleep and the phone can stay on and will ring when I get up. The battery life is incredible and the best so far out of all the phones I purchased. This phone comes pre loaded with a lot of google apps such as google chrome which I'm a fan of. Volume on this phone was louder than expected. This phone has definitely exceeded my expectations.

Super responsive, right size (fits in pocket, isn't too small so you can make the best of the screen), lots of options, wi fi network recognition works great, it's elegant, discrete, it doesn't include many ringtones but you can download those easily, lots of storage space, the camera has good res (no flash though), it has everything expensive phones have for an awesome price. I'm using it in Argentina, I had no problems with it being unlocked and everything. Way better than I expected.

I like this phone. I bought it for my mom and she is happy with this one. The UI is clean. Battery life is great. If you want a phone that wont break your bank this is the one to get. I used Moto G as well and i choose this one over that. Only con is camera. That is to be expected for the price. Some times i see performance slow downs because of 1gb ram.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a very good phone for routine smart phone needs at a very good price. The phone is built very well. It's snappy and functional. Android Lollipop is preloaded and did I mention the price. I thought that good phones must be expebsive. Motorola has changed my opinion after using this. Thanks to BB staff for understanding my needs and steering me away from another inexpensive phone that was less capable and slightly more expensive.

It's a good smart phone at a reasonable price. Does not have a flash, though, and none of the reviews I read mentioned that. The phone has the very annoying tendency to change various settings on its own -- changing network settings; dropping the selected network provider; changing the user from Owner to guest; and more.

I bought this cell phone for my mother in law, she lives in another country so I need a phone not to fancy but with great features and found this one, great price, it works perfect the only bad thing would be it doesn't have a flash aside from that it's great phone and it's unlock works international.

I really like the Motorola Moto E phone. It has neat things about it such as twisting your wrist twice to turn the camera on and then if you do it again it changes the phone into selfie mode. I didn't even know that about the phone when I bought it. It's got lots of space for the apps that I want to use. The phone is easy to figure out. I like how things are set up with the phone and ease of use.

As the title says.. this is actually an awesome backup phone on a budget. It is inexpensive yet runs super smooth. The camera sucks but you would not expect much more from a sub $100 bucks phone. This phone makes clear phone calls as well as it runs basic apps such as gmail, messaging, hangout with ease. It is an unlocked phone so you can use it on almost all GSM networks. Which makes this an awesome backup phone when your primary daily has taken dunk in the toilet or you are waiting for the next upgrade to come out.

I was changing providers and needed an unlocked phone. Tried the Moto G but it was too big for my hand and my purse. Returned it and bought this Moto E (2nd gen) which is not quite as current, but the right size. The first unit I bought I returned because the charger cord overheated. The salesman told me that was normal but finally agreed to replace the unit with another one -- which does NOT overheat. Now that it's functioning and I've gotten used to its slight differences from my previous Samsung and LG phones, I'm liking it a lot. It's the best phone I've owned. Motorola seems to be much less cluttered with useless proprietary tweaks than Samsung. The battery also lasts quite a bit longer.

Much to my surprise, the specs on the website were correct - this phone is only 3G; not 4G LTE like the rest of the Moto E 2nd Gens. This phone is unlocked but that is the only advantage to buying a branded (insert cell provider here) Moto E2. Should you buy one of the branded phones, you will loose some of the original functionality of the phone such as built-in WiFi Hotspot. The Moto E2 is a great little phone, nonetheless, but really? 3G? For the price, you can go to the online giant to pick one up and get an unlocked 4G LTE version instead. Additionally, this phone will only upgrade to 5.0.1, whereas, the 4G LTE will only get 5.1.

This is a basic Smart phone at a great price for the features and it being unlocked. It does not have a great camera but the wife does not really use it for that. It has the latest Android OS and works great for her. She is not tech savvy, so she just wanted a basic phone. This fits the bill nicely at a very good price.

I was looking for a small (fit in shirt or jeans pocket), that is simple and easy to use. I purchased a (genuine) black leather wallet case for it, too. Really smart! My only problem was with my wireless carrier - it was ONLY compatible with their pre-paid service, not their open plans. (The BestBuy sales force was unaware ot this.) I had to, sadly, give up using it and purchase (a 6x more expensive), LARGER device (and purchase ANOTHER leather wallet, too!) that was "compatible" with my wireless plan. I like my Moto E SO MUCH better!!!!

I bought this item as a gift. It's just a 8GB device but microSD card offsets the limitation. The only downside, if you are considering getting this phone, is the confusion about Marshmallow update. MotoE is listed as the one getting update but it's not clear about which version. IIRC MotoE has at least 4 different versions, Int'l, US only unlocked, US only carrier locked (ATT and Sprint).
