I sort of love this phone. Sound and quality is better than any phone I've ever had. I thought the basic structure would annoy me, but I love the lack of built-in junk apps. I choose. Simple. The only problem is the storage and SD card. I had to replace this phone because it kept uninstalling my SD and the first Moto G I had only had 8 gigs of memory; hardly enough. This one has 16 which is way better but just today it uninstalled my SD card again. Now I have to reinstall a bunch of apps. Still like it though. Probably gonna keep it anyway.

Having previously owned a Motorola phone, I was concerned about getting another with all the preloaded junk apps. This unlocked phone was the answer. The price was perfect and it is quite functional. The system upgraded to android 6.0.0 almost as soon as I started using it. Fast response and great battery life. Unbelievable value for a phone.

This is my first smart phone. I did a lot of research in looking for a moderately priced phone, and this got rave reviews from all the tech sites. For someone who's way behind the tech curve like me it's pretty easy to operate. It's also solid, feels good in my hand, and has great battery life. Photos look good to me, and since we just moved to a new state, having voice GPS is a godsend.

Phone has all the features which work fine without an issue and more its really worth for the price. If your looking for a smartphone with all features for less branded product, this will well suits.

This phone has minimal bloatware. Option for sd storage card. This phone functions on some levels as the very expensive phones. Is comparable but great savings. Bought a second one for my wife.

If you don't have to have the latest big-name gadget for big bucks this phone does everything you need a smart phone to do at a very reasonable price. Takes great photos and is very fast in handling apps and browser pages. My battery lasts several days without running down if I power-off at night. This has been a very astute purchase for me.

The price point was great for a phone with these features. It is just like the Moto X (1st gen) that I had previously only this phone is much faster. I use this phone with Straight Talk. Overall, it's not blazing fast but just fast enough for me. I am annoyed though that Moto migrate was updated and I couldn't migrate my stuff from my old Moto X.

I'm writing this review after exact one year of usage and I can vouch that this is an absolutely beast of a phone. It is sturdy, it is fast, it is the best phone for the price range. Would recommend it 10/10. Even after 1 year of usage and the constant influx of new smartphones in the market - I don't feel like replacing or upgrading this phone at all. One of my best electronics purchases till date!

I bought this phone to replace an outdated 3G phone. For the price, this phone provides quite a bit of function. In fact, it performs much better than I anticipated. It's not pre-loaded with a lot of apps you don't need or want. Good battery life, quality construction. It is also water-resistant so if you get caught out in a rainstorm you don't have to worry.

I bought this phone for mi wife and she is very happy with this phone, works fast and camera takes good pictures, sd card slot is a plus.

Great deal for this unlocked smart phone, works as advertised. I purchased the 16gb model . delivery was quick without any problems.

I needed a reliable unlocked phone to use while traveling internationally. This phone did the job! It's also a great back-up phone and has all the bells and whistles of a phone that costs 3 times as much!

The phone was easy to set up. Updating it to the new Android operating system was easy. It takes very good pictures.

Not to be confused with a top of the line phone of course. My wife doesn't want really big phones anyway. The battery on her MotoG (gen 1) had gotten so old it needed charging every day. This one lasts 4 days for her because she just doesn't use it much. Outstanding phone at this price point.

This is truly a great buy for the budget conscious! I recommend the 16Gb for space for all your apps. Phone does get hot sometimes not sure why! When you buy it be sure you update to Marshmallow, the latest Android software update. I use this phone on a Metro PCS service and it works fine with the update! Feels good and looks nice too. You will want a case too!

A phone that does it all and more versus a comparable IPhone, but for half the price!

Overall great phone, best battery life I've ever seen in a phone. Only reason I don't give it 5 starts is because of lack of LED for message notification and no one button press to turn on or off cell data.

Phone is great for what it is. Inexpensive factory unlocked phone. Motorola did a great job packaging valuable features into a cheap phone. No real bloatware to complain of, processor speed isn't lightning quick but fast enough, 2gb of memory on the larger memory phone definitely seems worth it. My memory cleaner regularly wipes 350mb, with Facebook & Twitter installed it was wiping 500-600 at a time. Camera takes good pictures, phone quality is great in earpiece, speakers leave something to be desired but they do the job. Overall great quality phone for a great price.

After reviewing all the newer smartphones out there I decided on the Motorola Moto G 3rd generation 16 g. I decided against the newer smartphones available, and went with this one based off of reviews and the specs from the manufacture website. I am very happy with the purchase and my decision.

Purchased this for use on Cricket Wireless with it's bring your own phone program. It's better than the phones they carry other than the top of the line phones like the Samsung Galaxy S6 or S7.
