I have used this phone mainly as a tablet with my wi fi or free wi fi. The display is sharper than many tablets, speed is comparable to many tablets, and is expandable with micro memory card. I am learning about android from the internet. People may want to consider 2g/16g version. Good speed with out cost of a samsung or iphone.

Love the phone. Super battery life! I get almost two days on a charge most of the time. My only complaint is that 8gb of memory is not enough I knew this going in but needed the phone for a trip to Ireland and couldn't wait to for the back ordered 16 G phone. Very good camera, not the best ever but the best I've had on a phone.

This is an entry level smart phone that works very well for my wife's needs. She has not had a data plan nor any type of smart phone before, but had experience with Android on a tablet. We were looking for a basic phone to replace her LG slide phone that she used for making calls and texting. She really likes the phone and has become comfortable with it very quickly. It was unlocked so we were able to leave Verizon and join T-Mobile adding data to a plan and still paying less than what we pair for Verizon.

My Samsung S4 Active, Died Before My Two Year Contract Was Up So Left Me In A Tough Spot. Having to Spend $400- $500 for a new phone 2 months before my contract would give me a new one was not an option. Walked in to the Best Buy, looking for a new phone, spoke to two gents and asked them what they thought of the HTC phone, which was valued at $150.00 and he suggested the new Motorola G3, which is owned by google so there was no restrictions on the Android operating system, like Samsung and HTC, uses to limit the functionality of the system. Have become a true fan of Motorola again of the Motorola Brand! Great phone, for a great price! The best thing is it's the same size of the Galaxy S4 Active and it fits me like a glove

The phone is a fantastic inexpensive phone. Its not a gamers phone. I have absolutely no issue with the phone- only BB Customer Service. Bought phone 8/1- told Salesguy- very important for me to have them apply screen protector for the $8 as my luck had not been good. I was told they did not have ANY accessories for the phone, and most likely would not carry them. I would need to go out and buy one and bring in, and pay the $8. The screen protectors they carried did not have a MotoG one ready yet, so I bought a 3 pack of Illumishield, and had my wife go in 8/7. After waiting for a free salesguy- she was told under no uncertain terms- they would not install ANY screen shield because we did not buy it there. She explained that they don't carry them, nor would they carry them, and explained what Sales guy said. Too Bad was their final answer. As she walked out- security stopped her and asked what the problem was- she explained she was pi**ed that she wasted her time and they went back on what was said. She also said she might just return the phone to spite them- Security said- well if u want to return it- just go over there and pointed to return line. I've bought my last 5 phones through BB- this is the 1st non-carrier one we've bought. Seems like all they care about is CARRIER. Guess what- I will thing twice when its my turn for a phone.

The previous moto G didn't have LTE but this year they upgraded it. For the money you can't beat this phone, sure there are phones with cameras that are a bit better or the screens are sharper or they have metal & glass backs instead of plastic, those phones are also $650 full price or with installment plans and they aren't even water resistant like this one. Is that really worth a $470 price difference?

i bougth it as overseas phone... i can travel get any local chip and use it... i love that is unlocked so use it when needed is perfect... also the speed, camera and everything is pretty decent,

If you can survive off a gb of RAM and about 5gb of available internal storage out of the box...then this is the phone for you! Great battery life....other than that, no complaints.

I purchased this newer 3rd generation model to replace my 2nd generation which decided to stop working. I have had it for almost one week now and have no complaints. Battery life is much better than the previous model and I can easily go about 3 days with some heavy usage before recharging

I got this phone so I could leave Verizon and move to another carrier. This phone works just fine with Consumer Cellular and it's a good basic phone. The camera takes good photos, it's just large enough to hold comfortably without worrying about dropping it or it feeling too thin or too small. I have it in a case with a screen protector and slip it into my back pocket all the time. Using a separate memory card, I was able to import my music and ringtones. One advantage of unlocked phones is that you avoid some of the bundled bloatware that carriers put on your device. I have had a few issues using it in stores or metal framed buildings (think any major box store) yet I also had that issue with my last phone so it seems to be an issue across models and manufacturers. For the money it's a good entry smart phone, with enough apps to keep you busy and Google Play has a decent selection. It is no iPhone nor does it have all the apps that the App store has, but if you want just your garden variety smart phone, this will do the trick. Older folks may find the larger size easier to work with, the screen and buttons are of a good size and there is a decent level of customization a user can do.

The phone has very good camera 13MP and is a good andriod phone for the price that it comes in compared to other brand phones

Has everything you would want in a smart phone with a much better than average camera, and at a very economical price. I am completely satisfied with this cell phone.

bought for my father. Was a affordable phone with decent specs. doesnt have all the bells and whistles as 500 dollar phones but was a true android and does what we needed it to do. Great camera

This smart phone was easy to set up. Does everything that I would want or need. You can't beat the price on this phone. It is simple to use and has a nice display. Takes great pictures too.

I like the phone but I should have had help in regards to purchasing the Net10 card to go with it. The $25 card will not work on this phone! Smartphone cards start at $35 -- but no one was available to ask. May I return the card?

A great device!, powerful cellphone, great camera, cheap and pretty

When I first picked up the Moto G (3rd Generation) my mind was blown. The build quality of this device is excellent for its price range. The plastic it is made of has a nice texture and is firm: there is absolutely no flex or ‘cheap’ feeling to it. It’s great that the phone has waterproof capabilities too. I wouldn’t personally take it swimming, but it’s just a little bit extra peace of mind. I’m a big fan of the feel of the textured back. It adds a nice edge to an otherwise plain smartphone. The front looks like a standard smartphone and while a bit boring I couldn’t find anything to fault with it.

Just as I had expected. I chose this phone after reading through many reviews and I can say that those reviews are quite accurate. Not the best phone but a good basic phone. The camera quality is good but not in dark areas(even with flash) as the quality becomes poor. It doesn't lag much either but I did notice some glitches on the phone such as being in lock mode even when I turn it off so I need to reboot the phone every time I make changes to the settings. This hasn't happened to my other phones. Overall, I think that this phone is good for the price.

Incredible value for 180$ lightweight, fast, holds charge for two days. Not overly pre-loaded with apps. Great sound and reception. Looking forward to traveling to the GSM world with this phone.

I bought this phone for the camera. I wanted something easy to access when I wanted to take photos and didn't want to skimp on the quality. It's done a nice job so far. The only issue I have is getting it to stay connected to Microsoft Sync in my car.
