Put Sim card from old phone into the Moto G5 Plus not one problem. Contrary to some reviews I read, voice quality is excellent. Android 7.0 is quick and smooth. Going to upgrade other familty members. Buying unlocked phones the only way to go, avoid the pressure of Verizon retail stores trying to sell you something you don't NEED>

All I had to do was insert my SIM card and it was working right away no problems at all. Quick response to any app and great to stream video & games. I love that it did not come pre-loaded with my carriers apps. It is a little too big for my small hand but otherwise is okay. It's a great phone for the small price.
