Posted .Hi Pida, thanks for your report and we would like to help. Regarding this concern, we can do some basic troubleshooting steps that can help resolve the concern. Try to turn off the device first. Remove and reinsert the sim card and then turn on the device again. The phone will re-establish a connection to the network. If this doesn't work, go to Settings > Backup and Reset> Network Settings Reset > Reset Settings. To get the most accurate result, we recommend running this troubleshooting step in Safe Mode and observe. To boot your device in Safe Mode, press and hold the Power button until "Power off" shows, then press and hold "Power off" until "Reboot to safe mode" shows and touch "OK". Please don't hesitate to drop a message to supportforums@motorola.com and we are willing to help. - Mike

Close to stock android
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very thin for a budget phone, underwhelming camera as you may expected at this price and performance is good for the price, likely due to its minimalistic, close to stock Android software

Great phone, especially for the price.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Looked at a lot of smart phones in this price range and higher, and couldn't find one with the features and specs this one has for anywhere near this price. Great battery life. Meets and exceeds my requirements.

Good phone for price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love fast charging. Don't care for most frequently used apps at top of list of apps on phone that cannot be disabled. Also speaker phone not very loud. Overall great value and great phone.

It's a good phone.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a good phone for the price, it does the job. What I don't like it the response and precisivenes of the touch screen when using the keys when typing. Other than that, everything is good.

Great experience with my first android phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using a windows phone for long and offlate felt pretty handicapped with many apps being unavailable. Moto g5 plus is a great android phone and I'm glad to have picked up the best budget phone.

Middle of the road smartphone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not too bad if you don't want to spend the money for a higher quality phone. Sometimes slow and glitchy.

Posted .Hi OldSailor,
When the internal memory of the phone is full or close to full, you may experience a sluggish user interface, latency when switching menus, or in some cases the display freezing or reboot. Check to see how much internal memory is available on the device: Settings > Storage. It is also a good practice to restart the device periodically (at least every 48 hours) to clear out buffers and memory that may lead to intermittent issues.
Hope this helps.

Husband hates phone, has complained from day one
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Since ditching expensive contract cell service and switching to prepaid, I've either purchased inexpensive LG phones or used Samsungs but thought I'd splurge for my husband when the Moto G5 Plus came out with promising specs and reviews. He isn't very tech savvy and resists change so I chalked his complaints up to it being different than what he was used to but nearly 2 years later, he still hates it. Now the battery barely holds a charge and the phone constantly has ads and low memory warnings popping up.

Great phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this phone as a gift for my dad and he loved it. It does some of the same things my S8 does. He loves the figure print security option. Makes it easy for him to unlock the phone. Great phone

Bang for your buck
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from the previous generation, Amazon version. I was happy with that device and this one improved with the newer software and lack of Amazon bloatware. I would definitely recommend this device

Great unlocked phone for price.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sleek design, nice features, easy to use. Compatible w/ all carriers. Turned in my leased phone and was able to keep my number and port over to new carrier. I now pay $40/month prepaid instead of $90.

Phone is hard to get the back and status settings
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm used to having discreet buttons for back and status. The "finger print" button is kinda erratic when trying to go back to a previous page or to get to the status of apps/home screen

Motorola is still the best!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I unfortunately had to change over to other brands due to my service discontinuing Motorola phones. I was so frustrated I finally bought an unlocked Motorola G5. Wow!!! It sure is sweet to be back. Al

Solid metal phone and great value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Better than my once top end droid turbo. Quick focus camera is a much needed improvement over previous Motorola (now Lenovo) product. HD audio on Verizon is crisp and super clear! Great phone overall.

Great cell phone for my wife
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Motorola screen is larger than the iPhone 6s and seems to be perfect for my wife, any larger and it would be too big. I like downloading apps without connecting a cable to my computer.

Best cell phone I have owned.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The salesman was SO patient and showed me all of the phones available. He helped me choose this one and then set it up for me - transferred all of my data and contacts from my old phone to this one!

Using it now.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone has been pretty good. I like that it has a finger print scanner to make certain things easier to log in to. Pretty reliable and really no complaints. Still going!

I read that the camera was better in this Moto G5
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Also I liked the fact I could use finger print for security. So far it is working fine. I fought buying a cell because I wanted nothing to do with texting. Of course I am now texting.
