It won't keep a call connected over WiFi calling even with an excellent signal, I can't text photos over WiFi without a cell signal, and the gesture features I try to use only work about 10% of the time (Flashlight "chop" and horizontal double swipe for viewing 2 apps at once). I live in an area with no cell service and don't have a landline so the WiFi issues are a real problem for me. I hate this thing but I guess I'll have to live with it for awhile since I don't want to buy another new phone after only a month.

Since you’re in an area with no cell service, WiFi connectivity becomes especially important. You can try restarting your phone, ensuring it’s running the latest software (Settings > System > Software updates), and toggling Airplane mode on and off to refresh your connection. For WiFi calling, double-check that it’s enabled under Settings > Network & Internet > SIM & network > WiFi calling and that your router is using a compatible frequency band (2.4 GHz often works more reliably than 5 GHz). Gesture features can sometimes be affected by software updates or screen sensitivity settings, so reviewing them under Settings > System > Gestures may help improve performance. Haven't had to call voice mail, use password in ten plus years. This phone has old outdated features. It also fails to show there is a voice mail.

Great phone for my needs.

I bought this as a temporary phone while my Motorola Razor Plus 2023 was being repaired for defective screen. It gets better 5G than the Razr and though I've received my Razr back, I'm still using this phone! Anyone want a refurbished Razr? lol
