Customers are saying

Customers admire the Moto G Stylus for its remarkable camera quality, affordable price, and the convenience of the stylus feature. The long battery life and ample storage space are also highly appreciated. While some users have concerns about its durability, the lack of wireless charging, NFC, and a slight learning curve, these drawbacks seem to be outweighed by the phone's overall strengths.

    Best $300 phone

I really like this phone. I previously owned an LG Stylo 5, and the difference in performance is night and day. The best feature is the cameras, the photos they take get constant compliments from my parents who both own iPhone 11 handsets. I really wish it had NFC and wireless charging, but at 300 dollars I can do without them.

It does anything I 'd need a cell phone to do. I like that it has a stylus, and a place to keep it. I like that it has 128 GB memory with a slot for expansion. I like a phone with a headphone jack. I like its splash resistance. I like the price too. It looks great. Should be a great replacement for my Motorola X Pure.

I've had moto phones in the past. I prefer Moto phones over any Android phone I've used. This phone especially has the perfect amount of space for me. It charges so quick, the stylus is fun to use. The camera gives such clear photos, the speakers and sound are excellent. This phone is just a great phone to use.

Got this for my wife to replace LG V20 that was having issues. Phone was easy to activate on ATT. Just inserted Sim from old phone, entered Google info and voila contacts, photos, messages, apps transfered. As always you have to re-enter passwords, just remember to have them handy. Oh, and be sure to backup to Google account before starting!! Camera works great once you understand the controls. Night setting was very good. Being able just shake the phone to activate the camera is very convenient. Same with flashlight, chopping type motion turns it on. Screen looks very good, of course not as good as $700 or $1000 phone but for the price, very nice. Battery life seems to be very good when she is out and about. She plugs it in every chance she gets. Old habit from the V20. For $299 unlocked this is a great phone for what you get. Good processor, adequate ram 4gb, 128gb of storage plus expandable micro SD that you can actually put Apps on, nice. I will say one negative thing is inserting the Sim card and micro SD card can be challenging. I suggest putting in Sim first then wait till phone is activated then put micro SD in. The tray for this is a little awkward. Very attractive phone. Got a clear case and screen protector for $16 on Amazon. Well worth it.

Overall, a nice upgrade from the Moto Z2. Since there were never any Moto mods used in the first place, I would recommend others for this phone as it’s not as pricey and has a great camera. Plus is starts you off with a generous amount of storage at 128GB

The phone was very affordable and has everything I was looking for. #1 ~ Android it my preference. The stylus was a must as well as a good amount of storage. I love this phone for it's size ~ not too small and fingerprint sign in option as well. I keeps the Grandchildren within their boundaries. LOL!

Stylus works well and can hide and blend in phone. great duo camera and Dolby dual speakers makes good sound. Plenty of storage and good processor well worth the price compared to other styus or moto phone with so many features the list goes onm

Bought this to replace a 2 year old Motorola X4. Thought I'd use the stylus, but just haven't found it useful. Learning the gestures on Android 10 took a little while, but over all not too painful. A few apps (Games & drawing apps) don't like Android 10 Gestures instead of the old 3 buttons, but that's an android issue, not specific to this phone. The camera is pretty awesome, tons of memory for apps and seems to be fast enough I can keep several apps loaded and switch quickly. Over all, I'm pretty pleased with the purchase and would buy it again.

Can't beat the value of this phone. Great amount of storage, decent ram, decent processing power, decent camera, decent speaker, sweet custom actions, built in stylus, decent battery life etc. The only thing that I wish was better was Motorola's android update support.

Price to performance, it is hard to beat this phone, purchased for a total of $135 after tax. You have a big nice screen, large internal storage, great battery life and Motorola's software doesn't get in your way. Oh and there's a stylus to if you ever need it.

Went from the G5 plus to this and am happy with the transition. This is not as durable as the G5 plus but it is much more up to date. Cameras are great and the stylus is handy

Barely had this phone for a week but seems to be holding up well! Very nice design and the fact that you get a stylus for the low price of the phone is pretty great! I needed this phone for my Google Fi service for international travel. I have an iPhone 11 but Google Fi doesn’t offer WiFi encryption when the service is used with an iPhone, so I needed a compatible device that offered all of Google Fi’s services. At this price I was able to buy it last minute with no issues.

Good phone. Good 48 megapixel camera. 128gb internal plus microSD provides plenty of storage. Finger print sensor could be better, but maybe I just need to retrain it. Stylus option is nice, but I don't really use it. Price was great and it runs well.

Motorola has hit it out of the park. I am not a big spender on cell phones but this ones performance has proved to be way above my wife's older g5. Camera amazing, memory fast and plentiful, the phone is great. The stylus is actually quite useful.

I've had this phone for about a month and it's worked better than most other phones I've had. Battery lasts long, the camera is great quality, the stylus is lackluster but for the storage it's worth the price.

I have bought a number of Android device over the years which ranged from terrible to great. When factoring in its cost, this is definitely on the "great" side. The screen is 6.4' but the bezels are so small the device is marginally bigger than an iPhone 6. The screen quality gets the job done. And it performs well despite only 4GB of RAM. The stylus is also a pretty good throw-in and is much better than the ones on a competing LG phone. Granted it is still a Snapdragon 665 phone so adjust expectations: you won't get iPhone 11 Pro performance here. Still it is the best cheap Android phone that I have owned, and much better than nearly all of them.

I'm not someone who wants to make payments on a phone, nor do I need anything top of the line. This phone is a perfect, affordable solution. The top speaker was a little wonky the first week or so and I almost returned it, but it worked itself out and now the sound is great. Feels solid and well built in my hand without being too large. Upgraded from a Moto G5 Plus and this feels like an overall upgrade in features. I don't use the stylus at all, but if you need it it's handy. Doesn't fall out and you can choose an app to open as soon as you take it out.

Great phone! Everything I need. Lots of storage, a great battery life and a stylus to boot. While I may not use the stylus much (yet), it is a great bonus and you never know it is there. Add in great price and it can't be beat!
