I happen to love this item. From the moment I first opened the package, I admired the sleek style of this product. When I placed the Motorola Hint in my ear, it became so discreet. I will be using this for work and personal needs so definitely comes in handy. By the way the audio is great for when I'm not taking calls.

    use indoor ONLY

like the product overall feaures. volume control was bad as i would have to quicklly grab it out my ears while streaming and advertising came on or if someone was shouting (being that it is a directly in ear device) then used the phone to adjust volume. i recommend only using this INDOORs as it can fall some where not easily accessible outdoor, as occured with mine. OR finder option that makes it peeps. it would have been also good with a descreet neckband with a pin that slips in the earpeice for outdoor use

    Great design

I love the design and it's very comfortable to wear but the battery life isn't good. The package says up to 17hrs talk time but you only get 3hrs continuous talk time before needing to recharge the Bluetooth. A different Motorola I had gave me 9hrs continuous talk so the bar is set high. Therefore this didn't meet my expectation.

    Forget the sliver 2

I was a huge fan of my sliver 2, was ready to buy another one until it broke in a manner rather stupidly, i drop it from my desk, onto... are you ready, CARPET and it broke into two pieces, WTF. When i found out about the Hint and the Hint + i had to try it. I LOVE IT, for what it does, how it fits, the sound is what you would expect from basically a Bluetooth the size of a hearing aid. 3 hours plus and additional 14 hours, the sliver only gave you 10 to 12 total. I say try it.

Nice little unit, but falls short

Talk time is good, as specified. but the range is horrible. i cannot walk 10 feet away without the voice getting garbled. this does NOT have 150' of roaming capabilities. barely has 10. this unit is fine if your phone stays in your hand or shirt pocket. I will be returning this to the store after 2 days of use.

Need a lot of work on the user's manual. Customer service personnel are not very familiar with the device. Actually need 2 manuals; MOTO Voice and Moto Hint. Not happy with the device so far.

    Terrible battery life, poor audio

Have happily used several Motorola Bluetooth devices in the past. This one has been awful. I get maximum 2 hours of standby time -- not talk time, standby time -- and then it reports "low battery" and stops working. Have charged, recharged, etc., no improvement. Drops signal often, and audio quality is poor. Not nearly as good as devices costing < $25. What in the world happened, Motorola?

.. for someone with small ears this is not the greatest buy! It also forgets the paired devices. I was completely let down by this short sell!

Fit and form are tremendous, but function stinks.

Fit and form are best I've ever seen. Fits easily in your ear without feeling like it's there at all. Unfortunately, function fails. Microphone fails to consistently pick up your voice. You come across garbled. And no noise cancellation that makes any difference Frustrating because this is second generation and could have been so good.

    Best earpiece yet

This is a great earpiece. The second gen improved on the two downsides of the first gen, mainly how loud the earpiece was and the battery life. Get this, I don't think you'll regret.

Good product but not secure in case LOST in 2 wks

I like the product and thought the function was good. The problem, however, was how easily the case slid open. Within 2 weeks, I discovered it was GONE after a day of running errands. So much for $130 bucks!! Until this is improved, don't spend the $$$
