I bought it at $106.99, after using the previous version of moto x for over a year. The feature that this phone offers over almost any other android phone (almost every other smart phone) is always listening feature. Use it everyday while driving when I have to pick my wife up from the university. I am willing to pay as much as $350 for this phone even now (almost one and a half years after it's relase). In my opinion this is the best android experience. I just wish they would make the camera and battery life better than iPhone, then this phone would be flawless for me. A finger print sensor would be great as well. I know all the specs of this phone (like ram, memory etc etc) but none of them bits the in hand experience, believe me the software's visual appeal is better than my iPads visual appeal. I have had the experience of using a samsung GS4, an LG G2,, One plus one, nexus 4, Xiaomi mi note 2 and a asus xenfone. Except for the xiaomi phone every other manufacturer need to build build a coherent software visual. Xiaomi does it better than most of them partly because their "inspiration" from apple. Motorola is the best for me because it's closeness to nexus and features like always on to accompany that. However, to create the best experience you have to take a step further and disable the AT&T apps. Another company which have to up their software design game. I also wish they do not abandon this beauty and upgrade it to Marshmallows. Speaking of beauty, it feels great to hold it in my hand. Especially the slick metal edges and very subtle rounded front glass. I personally feel the moto logo from the last year felt better in hand, but this looks better. Why would I chose this over an apple phone. Price is obviously a big reason. However, hypothetically let's imagine this has a batter life, camera and a finger print scanner comparable to iPhone 6s. I would chose this over the iPhone if they are priced same. Why? Because, I use most of the google software products and that home button which calls google now without effort. Doesn't seem much, but once you get used to them, you can never go back.

I stepped up from a Motorola Moto G to this phone and was impressed by the performance increase and solid build quality. For less than half the cost of a top of the line Samsung or HTC phone, the Moto X is highly competitive for my uses with a great screen and powerful quad core processor. People looking for a really good camera might want to look elsewhere though as this one does not have optical image stabilization and most new high end phones are pushing higher resolutions. While battery life was initially an improvement over my Moto G, this has tapered off significantly over the past year of use and usually requires a top off with heavy use about 2/3 through the day. Fortunately the phone is enabled for use with a turbocharger and will charge close to 80% in about 20 minutes still.

Moto x +1 is a good phone. I like it very much. But when I received it, it is totally used. I can see a lot of dust on the surface. There is some handwriting on the box. Even under the screen protector there is some bubbles. But for the price I cannot complain more. Best buy should put open box or used sign on it. I have other friends they also bought this when it was on sale. They came up the same issue. If you check the imei you can figure it out it is not new condition because of warranty info. Not very good experience but okay.

Had this phone for 2 months now and am completely happy with it. Battery life could be a little better but overall the phone is comparable to samsung galaxy S5 but a fraction of the cost.

I can from Apples very refined system on the iPhone 5 and I have got to say I am extremely pleased with this phone. After two months of heavy use the phone has shown no signs of slowing down or glitching. The no touch system is extremely useful as you do not have to actual press any buttons to get a preview of your notifications. The screen will be lit and once it is removed from your pocket or purse allowing you to easily check notifications. The camera is very good. The twist of the wrist to activate it is pretty cool. The moto voice is very accurate and works even if the phone is locked and screen is off. It also helps if you can't seem to find your phone as it will make some noise. Overall I am very pleased with this phone!

I purchased this phone and kept for a couple days, the metal frame and the body itself are pretty cool. I like to moto voice, but the screen and the camera a below average, although it has AMOLED screen, the color and the pixels make me feel uncomfortable. Camera is far away from the average, as a long-term problem for Moto.

The Moto X (2nd gen) has some great features. The battery life is amazing. Using key words to activate some of the phones features the Moto X (2nd gen) is very helpful. Those features can be deactivated also. The Moto x (2nd gen) is a very versatile device. The camera is amazing, with the right app it will unleash its true potential. The front speaker has good sound, phone calls are super clear, and the Moto X (2nd gen) is light weight. The phone is also SPLASH resistant. This phone will be perfect for the multitasker.

Poo on the battery life, but like the minimalistic skin on Android that Moto does (probably correlates to when they were part of Google). If it had a better battery It would be my primary phone, except I'd have gotten a 32GB model vs. the 16GB I have.

Excellent all around phone, top notch in all aspects. Web surfing super quick, great camera features battery as good as other phones (turn Google and email sync off when not needed, it drains battery) Very happy that I didn't spend hundreds more for a similar phone.
