At normal price, the Moto X Pure shows its age in terms of features. At a sale price, it's an amazing value. The SD808 processor does well. I only experienced a couple of very small stutters during usage. 3GB RAM is sufficient as I never noticed a need to refresh. The screen is wonderful. I love the size and color. It had adequate brightness for outside viewing in the sun, which not all phones do. Overall an excellent value flagship-level phone at the sale price. Unless you absolutely need a fingerprint scanner, comparably priced new mid-level phones like G4 Plus doesn't come close in performance.

I bought this as an alternative to an iPhone, and I'm pretty happy overall. I can't give it 5 stars because my iPhone battery was twice as better (I carry a charger everywhere now), and this phone isn't as powerful and smooth in operation. It's still a good purchase if you want a mid-grade Android without going broke. I really love the turbo charge function and the bamboo back.

Best Buy was having a deal on the Moto X with positive reviews so I decided to grab one. The phone is great with it's big screen size, additional memory can be added, 3 gb ram is good, performance speed is okay, good camera, good sound quality, and fast turbo charging. For half the price of the Samsung or Apple phones its is a great phone to get with a stylist look.

The phone is generally good, but it seems to have some issues as it relates to call quality. I tried 2 different Moto X Pure phones and both had the same issue, so I think it's just how they are (it could also be a software issue that might get solved with future updates). The calls seem to have a constant static noise in the background. It's faint, so I am willing to live with this because the phone was on sale at a good price. During my research for the phone, everybody said call quality was "excellent". But in my analysis, the call quality is good (you can still hear people well), but with the static noise is pretty much always present. Sometimes, it's not so noticeable though. Camera is very good with ideal lighting & adequate with low light. The android "pure experience" seems to lack some basic features that other phone makers have already implemented such as a button to close all your apps & wifi calling. I believe the function to close all apps will be available with the Nougat update.

This is an amazing phone. Picked it up for $269 + tax. Pretty close to stock Android. No bloat ware

Bought phone in December. Good camera, front facing stereo speakers and screen size. The only downside is the battery life. Lasts maximum of 4 hours that too on wifi. The turbo charger is great. Charges the phone completely in about an hour or so. Also, still waiting for Android 7 update. Would recommend it if battery life is not an issue.

This is a solid phone and quite worth the price paid. It comes with stock android and is pretty much free of bloat ware. For those who appreciate an Android experience without too much 3rd party junk on it this is really a solid piece of hardware. The only setback for this might be the battery, It will give you almost a full days worth of usage.

Pretty excited having this phone for first two weeks. This is basic Android phone with nice Motorola features.Two front stereo speakers does the job. This is $250 smart phone so for daily media usage is all right. Huge screen is vibrant and colors are very saturated. Giving for stars only for Moto apps which sometimes works, sometimes don't.

After having reliable Motorola Razr M for 3 yrs. I decided on a unlocked Moto x pure and not have to have another 2 yr. contract with my cell carrier, I am still learning many features of the phone. I like the turbo charge, also the 21mp camera, and sound quality. The only negative I can think of it is hard to find a case that will fit it.
