Great mid level phone for the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Initially bought two of these phones one for my son and then one for myself. My son loves his and he uses it on a prepaid Network I ended up giving mine to another family member who use it on yet another prepaid Network this phone is great it goes both GSM and CDMA networks. I highly recommend this phone to anybody who doesn't want to pay a lot and gets a really great phone

I do not recommend...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The phone is beautiful in my opinion and feels great in the hand. The screen is amazing. It has expandable storage. The camera is serviceable enough. Why can I not recommend this phone? The battery life is absolutely horrible. You send a text and you see the % go down. I can't stress enough how bad the battery life was. I bought this when it came out in '15 and got rid of it. I bought it again recently when it got really cheap at Best Buy and returned it. I was quickly reminded of why I returned it in the first place. I got spoiled with the battery life of my iPhone 6 Plus and most recently, the battery life of the Moto Z Play that I am typing this review on. I am averaging 10 hours of screen time with the Moto Z Play. This thing is insane, however has a drawback. It would absolutely be the perfect Android phone for me if the camera was decent. It sucks!

Great phone for that price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Phone features are good. It charges quickly and android marshmallow updated made the phone exciting. Speaker/sound quality is nice. Drawback: Phone gets heat when I use Maps and when I try to charge in Car. Camera is noisy even in daylight.

Great smartphone for price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far I enjoyed this smart phone. For the price, it performs very well. Battery last a good long time especially when the battery saver is on. Like the 5.7" screen. Good quality for pics and video. Overall, I like this phone without paying the price for something similar. No issues so far with it.

Great phone overall for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Moto X Pure is a great phone overall. No bloatware from the provider is a big plus. Has an excellent camera and plenty of processing power for almost any app. For the price and no contract required, this is hard to beat.

A great phone but buy a spare battery pack
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great mid-level phone with a semi-big screen (Stepping down from a 6.4 in Sony Xperia Z Ultra) that's promised to receive Android Nougat (7.1.1) update within the next 2 months. Kinda disappointed there's no notification light and battery life is mediocre at best, get a battery pack for a backup in case you're in the middle of nowhere.

Good cell phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This cell phone is really good, but battery won't last 24 hours if you use it is a regular basis, internet, location services sometimes and that's enough to consume the battery in 18 hours, everything else is really good.

Amazing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally purchased the Samsung and had to return it because it was not functioning well. I decided to try Moto x brand, I liked the memory space and also it was an Android phone. This phone camera is amazing, speakers are clear... Overall I've had no major issues with it.

Really good for non-techy family
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Phone has been in use for almost three months, so far without any major challenges. Phone was a replacement for an iPhone 5C. We purchased through Best Buy to take advantage of an unlocked phone and remove the Verizon contract. Didn't take much to get it up and running on Verizon's network, although we did have to call Verizon back after a month to actually turn off the 5C we asked them to at activation of the Moto. Non-Techy household member just wanted a phone to call, text and surf the web. The capabilities of the phone are meeting that to a T. No complaints about the phone. For those out there switching from Apple to Android, there is a slight learning curve to use some basic functions (Notification, Media, Alarm), WiFi, Home Screens and Docks, etc. App usage is very similar. I took a star off because the device would be mediocre in the hands of a serious smartphone user (lack of memory in this model, speed, etc).

Very happy with purchase.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this phone for myself and ended up buying three more for everyone in the family. My kids love the great camera. The processor speed is great with the phone responding instantaneously when you tap the screen. Sound quality on calls is also excellent.

Great phone for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this phone, everything works great, it's fast and has a 5.7 inch screen. An update was immediately available for 6.0 Marshmallow, but it is also supposed to get the 7.0 Noguat once available. The Moto X Pure is a great phone for the price (I got it for $250, new), but if $ is not a concern go for the newer Moto Z.
