I was skeptical about buying an unlocked phone but this phone works perfect. It was also easy to switch everything over and my carrier T-Mobile works perfect.with the phone.

For the price this is an awesome phone, going from the note 7 I did feel that it lags but not by much. Overall it is an excellent choice for the price. The screen is big and bright, and it is pretty close to pure android if you like that experience. The cons include no SD card and fingerprint scanner. The only other problem I had with it is it has made me realize how nice Samsung pay is to have compared to android pay. If you can skip those three items 350 is a way better deal than 700 for a top of the line Samsung phone.

Upgraded from Moto X 2013 to the Moto X Pure Edition. The features of this phone are very much integrated in my life. I heavily rely on the voice activation features, as well as the quick twist to open camera. the build quality has improved as well. The timely android updates is the icing on the cake. The only thing that kept me upgrading from updating to this phone sooner is the IPS display. Unlike the older models which supported AMOLED displays. I prefer AMOLED displays over IPS, thus the four starts to this phone.

This phone is the best unlocked phone for the price, it works on any carrier CDMA and GSM and it feels like a perfect stock Android phone. Nothing better than this bad boy.

While visiting best buy and looking at getting a new phone, an employee directed me to an unlocked phone so I didn't have to sign a new contract. It's been a great buy.

This was felt slower and the moto display was cheaper. the moto display actually lit up the whole screen which i would think would make it bad at night the phone itself got VERY hot and i wouldnt even used it. it was probably a defect because the battery went from 100-20 in 20 minutes loved the moto x 2014 but not sure what happened on this one.

      Hi MrCrookzZ,

The issues with heat and battery life definitely sound like an issue with a rogue app keeping the phone awake. Please try the phone in Safe Mode to see if the issue persists. If you need further help then please give support a call to troubleshoot.

I got this phone to replace my dad's old G3. This phone is great if you are looking for a full android experience without paying for the high ticket price on the Nexus.

    Good mid-range phone

Decent phone for the mid-range price. I needed more memory for apps, but didn't want to spend $500-$600 or more for a phone. The Moto X has lots of memory, plus takes micro sd card for more. Main drawback for me is that I have to keep looking at my phone for message notices. Can't get sound at all for FB Messenger ... and if I miss the notification for anything else, or have my phone on silent, there's no blinking light to let you know that you should check your phone. You just have to keep looking.

The phone handles needed functions as well as the expensive models. The phone is a bit heavier than some and a bit thicker also.

Pros - Got 32 gigs for 299 at BBuy, 100 USD off the original price, in the next few months the price further fell down to 249 USD of few sites. Agree its a 2015 phone but still the specs and build quality are way better than any midrange phone for the same price - Quad HD display is crisp and clear 1440p - Battery does last 8 -9 hours without issues on heavy usage, if not lasts a day for a regular user Cons - Software update made the phone just a tad slower, not noticeable for a regular user

If you tap on anything it zooms in and it's hard to make it go back to it original size. It's to heavy to hold for a long period.

This phone was purchased to replace my wife's aging Nexus 4. Google's decision to offer their Pixel phones at such high prices pretty much eliminated us a customers. We like the Nexus phones and the Google/Android ecosystem. Even though it is a year old design, the Moto X Pure met our requirements for a clean Google experience. The phone was a step up in display size and quality, overall performance and battery life. My wife has been pleased with the Moto X Pure and we are likely to purchase more.

Great phone. Pictures are clear. Sound is excellent. The 32 GB has more than enough room with the option of additional SD card for more space. I love this phone!
