I bought the Moto X Pure Edition on Black Friday sale. It was a good price. I bought it Unlocked. It can be used for ATT, Tmobile, Verizon and Sprint. It came with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The phone is as fast as the Samsung Galaxy phones. It runs smooth and not buggy. So far I'm enjoying my Moto X Pure Edition.

It has a great price doesn't have all the bloatware from the manufacturer or the carrier it amazes me how many more apps I have on the phone and I'm still below storage that I had on my s5. I would caution that it does take a little more work to set the phone up because it's the basic system.

This phone provides excellent quality and value. All of the standard functions, phone, data, Bluetooth, camera etc. Work flawlessly. The camera, which is often disparaged, works great even in fairly low light situations. I give the phone a 4 because it is missing a few top end capabilities. There does not seem to be an IR transmitter. So, it cannot control TV's etc that use IR remotes. There also does not seem to be an FM receiver function. So apps like NextRadio don't work. The Moto apps included add a lot of usability. I can wake up the phone, enter a pin and issue voice commands all without touching the phone at all. This make speaker phone access very easy. When in more public places, the phone can go into voice command mode by just lifting the phone to your ear. When you do that, the responses from the phone are through the ear piece and not over the speaker. Overall, for the price, I am completely satisfied and would definitely recommend this phone.

I have tried a number of phones and brands over the years including IPhone Galaxy etc, but my favorite phone in this long list has always been the moto x. My previous phone was the moto x 2nd gen which was an excellent phone. This moto x pure is only better with it's large high res screen (and camera), along with no "bloat ware" purity of the android operating system as it was meant to be experienced. Best of all the retail price without a contract on this phone is fantastic, to make it even better it often goes on sale for over $100 off...combine that without having to sign a contract (just slide in your micro Sim with your GSM carrer) and away you go! The moto X line has become my go-to and it a great looking phone. Snappy fast with 3mb of ram at a fraction of the IPhone or Galaxy that the less informed are willing to pay more for....Get this phone and save yourself a bundle, you won't be disappointed.

I don't consider myself a brand snob, but Motorola has gotten me a little closer to being one. The main reason I bought this phone is because I had the 1st Moto X (2013), liked it, and nothing else available right now was quite what I wanted. I read stories about a new "Moto" phone coming soon, so I suspect inventory of this model is limited. It seems the price keeps dropping, so sellers must be trying to clear them out. What don't I like about it: not much, and I suspect my main gripes have to do with Android 6 and not so much this phone. I don't like that this display isn't truly dark when it flashes notifications on the lock screen, but that's rather minor. I read somewhere there was sort of a good reason for that, but I can't remember now what it was. What I like: just about pure Android. The unlocked nature of this phone avoids carrier fluff, and I REALLY prefer an interface that's close to stock Android. I did add Nova Launcher, for more customizability, but otherwise, it's very close to pure Android. And you can add a microSD card. I probably would have bought a Nexus phone, but you can't add extra memory, if I recall. Good display. Good camera. Phone call quality - good, no complaints One gripe I have is that you must look around to find cases, screen protectors, etc. You won't run across an accessory for this phone at Sam's, Target, etc., especially since it was only sold by Best Buy, Amazon and Motorola. Amazon has a good selection, but it's always a small gamble ordering from them. Fortunately the investment from that is minimal. Overall, I'm happy, no complaints here, at least with the phone. It works, it's simple, fast, expandable memory, and not outrageously priced.

Zero contract. Does everything I want: solid phone service, fast internet, long battery, lots of storage (64gb) and fast charging. Great picture quality. Great responsiveness in operating system. Overall, you won't find better in January 2017.

It's a great phone. It has tremendous capability. Two speakers are great for listening to music. Phone connection is definitely better than most. Camera is great. Fast charging in quick charge mode. Large 6" HD screen is very clear.

Great unlocked phone for the price. Popped in sim card and was good to go with plenty of memory. Battery life is very good as I don't use it for gaming or watching movies. Very happy with this purchase.

I bought the Motorola Pure X phone from BestBuy as Deal of the day, I love this phone, its stylish, lots of memory and works simply great. Battery life is great too. Simply an awesome product

I needed more memory. 32 gigs would probably be fine but with a deal of the day price, I was able to afford 64. Phone does everything I need it to. I have no complaints so far.

Although this phone was released in late 2015, it is still a very nice phone. While it doesn't have the latest Snapdragon chipset, it is still quite fast with the 808 chipset and performance wise I can't tell the difference between it and an LG G5 with the 820 version. With the bamboo back it is a great looking phone also. The price of the phone really made it a bargain though as I got it on sale for $249. At this price it can't be beat. Even better is that it works for all CDMA and GSM carriers so you're not stuck with a phone that won't work on another carrier if you switch.

This is the phone to get for the ultimate pure Android experience. This phone still holds its own compared to the latest and greatest newer phones. I love the water resistance so I can still play games while at the gym in the hot tub. This screen is sharp in detail. Camera is light years better than my old Moto x. The reception of calls is better and transitions better between wifi and cell calls. The battery life and turbo charging are a game-changer. Overall I am pleased and am enjoying my purchase daily. I love this phone.

The phone is not perfect. T-Mobile customers appear to be having an issue with the enhanced LTE mode creating choppy audio during calls. The battery is not easily replaceable. Unless you are experienced or very determined you'll probably have to take it to a "fix it " store to have it replaced. However, for the money (I paid $300) I think it is a fantastic purchase. I like it better than other phones costing 2x more.

Wonderful hardware. Marshmallow update, confused the phone. Hoping updates remove the bugs. Love the phone. But with all relationships, there are compromises. Battery gets hot at times and GPS on Waze requires a reset of location. Not enough to get a divorce. And, one of the few phone that have front facing stereo speakers. Motorola!!! put the finger ID on the back dimple. Don't take away a speaker!!! on the next gen.....

Gave it to my daughter for Christmas. She loves it. Upgrade from her 3 yr old moto x. Great Camera. Great price!

Great bargain for an unlocked android phone, I think this should be a goal for all companies like Samsung, LG, HTC to have users buy an unlocked phone and then choose a provider of their liking. I highly recommend this unlocked and unbranded by any cell phone provided. Good phone, and like the stock android OS.

The screen resolution is awesome. The camera takes great pictures. Finding and managing settings is not mysterious. I have a friend with the same phone and he loves all the features. Activating for Sprint was very difficult. I'm thankful to the BB staff for all their help and eventually had to go to a Sprint store. I could not have done it online as the activation did not register. Might have just been a series of back luck events, it was Friday 13th.

Moto x pure edition is an wonderful phone with an excellent camera and 64GB storage at 249$ is a good deal!

this phone has very good excellent and better than G4 plus the battery run not hot during busy working !
