    Great Android phone

This is my first Motorola phone and I like it. Before I had a Samsung Galaxy note 4 and I do miss the stylus. But I love how this is very close to vanilla Android, very little bloatware. It's a Verizon phone so it's will have some of there apps installed, but you can disable them if you want. The phone is a work of art. Nice and slim. I was a little worried about the battery life with it being so slim. I love the turbo charging abilities. So I haven't had any issues with it. I love that you can expand the memory, for me I need more space then 32gb. This has been very helpful just reusing my memory card from my old phone. I also like the screen size, it's a tad smaller then the note 4. But it works just fine for me. My only issue so far is that while on a phone call I'm not able to use data. Which means, I can't download an attachment while talking with a client on the phone. Or do a search while on the phone. Apparently the note has 2 antennas were as the Moto z has only one. It's not a deal breaker for me but makes it hard some times. Overall, I like this phone a lot. You might too.

The Moto Z runs so fast and fluid. It has a nice large screen at 5.5in. Battery life is also fantastic, which makes me feel better about getting the one with the smaller battery. I am frequently at 50% or greater by the end of the night with moderate use.

Sleek design and very robust/powerful phone. Very slim, thinnest phone I’ve ever seen. Great display, very good camera, great speaker/sound, extra mods available for options, zoom lens camera, JBL speaker, projector. Battery last more than 24 hours, and charges pretty fast. Would recommend phone to friends/family.

I originally bought the Z Droid but had to take it back because it had an issue with Bluetooth. Apparently a common problem with this model so don't waste your money on it. I exchanged it for the Z Force and love it!! I'm switching from Apple IPhone so it is taking a little adjustment but the learning curve is pretty fast! This phone has so many features and being a modular phone hopefully will be expandable for years to come as they promise. The only thing I don't like about the new phone jack design is that you can't charge your phone and have your headphones connected . They need to put two jacks in. Pictures taken with this phone are so much better then with IPhone . I've only had the phone for two weeks but loving it so far! You owe it to yourself to check this one out!!

This phone is very slim. I was use to a physical home key and the little square finger scan always threw me off. But just took a little to time to get used to it. At first, I was disappointed that it didn't fully work with my 2015 Honda Accord Bluetooth system. My Accord would read my text when I would get a text. Moto Z is compatible with that option. But to my surprise, not only does the Moto Z read my text, I can also respond to it. Awesome feature with any Bluetooth device, including cars. The Moto Mods are nice but I'm afraid of dropping my phone so I got a nice protective case. So I didn't use any since battery life is great. I unplug it at 730am and charge it at 10pm and still has 20-30% left. Overall great phone, awesome picture quality.

After many years of using a dumb phone, I finally decided to enter the 21st century and upgrade to a smart phone. I looked at many brands and models and the Moto was on my short list. (Moto, Samsung, iPhone) When Best Buy offered this phone for less than half the price of the Verizon store, it sealed the deal. As with any new phone, there is a bit of a learning curve, but the internal help files are very well written and guide you through any issues. It came with the latest Android OS while many others are still using an older version. It has a large, bright, sharp screen and a very good camera. If I nit pick a bit the camera has a bit of a delay between touching the screen and taking the actual picture, but it is not a big issue.

When I first heard about the new Moto Z Droid Edition cellphone, I knew I had to get it, since I needed a replacement for my dying Droid Turbo quickly and the new phone looked promising. As a phone, the Moto Z does the job like all others do these days, but there are two good points to make for it. First, it's probably the thinnest, least bulky phone ever made; second, its capabilities can be expanded with "Moto Mods", special packs that snap onto the back and that do different things--I like this especially for the external battery pack that I got with the phone, which could expand its charge by many hours (and I rely heavily on battery power these days). In all, this is a great phone and one worth getting.

I bought the Moto Z this speaker and the projector. The Moto Z in general gets very hot in my opinion. To the point of where my hand would start to feel moist. The mods with this phone are awesome. This speaker is great and would definitely recommend that but be aware of that I would say $40 of the cost of speaker is for the convenience of having it on your phone. The phone itself was very quick overall but I did have issues with there being a delay whenever I would type something -about .25 second so very little lag but sill LA nonetheless. I really liked how thin the phone is but since I have larger hands it wasn't for me especially with the lag when typing and how hot it would get. The battery life will last you all day but you'll definitely be needing to charge it by the end of the day especially if you're like me and use your phone to browse Reddit all day as well. I put a lot of heavy use on my phones and I was able to use it for 10 hours without needing to charge it I would say. Overall I would recommend the phone if you didn't mind it being warm sometimes, which seems to be an issue with a lot of phones today being house than they are in the material that's being used, but would it recommend exercising caution if that's going to be a bother for you the mods are very pricey as well. The projector work amazingly well and I was able to watch a full movie on it. If you're really wanting the phone but don't need to get a new phone I would probably recommend waiting until Motorola comes out with the second version of this so that they have had the opportunity to refine it just a bit further but overall I would still definitely recommend the phone still especially if you're a gadget person like myself.

This phone has a very large screen and is pretty simple to use. It does take some adjustment if you are old school like me and use wired headphones and only have micro USB cables lying around. Found USB-C adapters, headphone adapters, and a case dirt cheap on ebay. It charges very very quickly too..that is a major plus! Had to buy a case for it to protect it, but that eliminated the Motomods. Mainly got it for the $10 a month prices, most phones are all the same and last the same..this is a good phone but nothing extraordinary.

It's a Good phone but I still miss my iPhone. Why you may ask? So much is still geared towards ISO and not Android's. I have yet to purchase a mod add on as most are pricey. Plus to the phone is it has great battery life . One big con I find is the location of the power and volume buttons. I wish the power button was on top and volume buttons lower more accessible to reach. I also wish they were on the left side of the phone. For right handers it's awkward having them in the right. Overall not a bad phone just needs some improvement and android needs to evolve more to catch up with the iPhone and IOS.

I've had the phone for about a week. Works well. Much faster than the Samsung S4 mini. Battery life is great. Last about 3 days before having to charge. Charging is much faster than previous phones. Couple things that I'm not liking is that there isn't many options case wise and being a small guy the phone is on the large size for fitting into pockets. If you plan on using the mod features and swapping a lot then you won't have an issue or need for a case.

Learned after purchase that I got the droid z that doesn't have the shatterproof screen. The salesperson that helped me must not have known the difference. So far no matter, nothing has broke and I do love this phone.after adjusting some settings, the battery is great and the Moto mod speaker is awesome.
