So I bought this phone because I had to turn in my Note 7 and it has surprised me 10 times over. The battery life if phenomenal I've gotten over 8 hours of SOT (screen on time) without having to sacrifice performance. The snapdragon 625 processor is the most underrated chip in the mobile community to date. So if you are looking for a phone that is snappy takes good photos and will last you at least 2 days on a single charge then look no further. The Moto X Play is the way to go!!!

For the price this phone is just great. The battery life is fantastic and so is the display, everything works great and I would highly recommend it.

This is the best phone I have used in a while: clear camera, good sound and excellent graphics. Most important: battery charges fast and lasts long.

I also bought an extra battery. The phone still pretty slime but with double the battery, amazing! Much better than other phones I had before.

I've been a Moto user since the original Moto X. The Moto Z Play is the best of these that I have used so far. Performance wise, it is a great improvement over the original X as well as the Moto X PE from 2015. But the real star of the show is its battery life. I went from needing to charge at about 2PM each day to charging once every 2 days. Game changer!

At this point, you've already read about the greatness of this phone, and I won't be able to say much that is different. The battery life is amazing, but the phone in general is so fast and smooth! I have no idea how Motorola will surpass what they've done with this phone, but to be honest, it would take a bit before I'd just have to replace what I have right now.

I'm truly satisfied with my Moto Z Play, it was at a reasonable price with all the features of the top phones out there. I was really sold on the 50-hrs. of talk time, 4G LTE, Quad-Band, Unlocked. I got my new phone and swapped the SIM Card from my old phone and went through the set up process with out any issues! My phone is working GREAT with no issues!

Moto z play is a great mid range phone. The built quality is very nice is thinner than The iPhone 7 Plus but is able to have a 3510 MAH battery and that is amazing I want to why Apple didn't squeeze this type of battery in the iPhone The phone is very snappy it opens every single apps without any problem the Super Amoled display is also a big plus

This phone is fantastic. I have purchased 3 of them for the family. Long battery life, great function and almost no bloat ware.

Love the battery life. Only downfall is the difficulty in finding a good case, but that's not the phone's fault. Love it.

As an android phone, they all work pretty much the same. However, the moto mod concept is what sold me on this phone-- it works well. The phone is well made, the fingerprint sensor works exceedingly well, the NFC (android pay) works exceedingly well, and most importantly, the battery life is awesome. 9 hours since it was unplugged, and its still at 88%. Can easily do 2 days between charges for me, likely even three. My moto X needed a recharge after 6-8 hours. The only thing that speeds the battery drain is leaving on the camera, and even this is just noticeable, not catastrophic. The one feature I am not as impressed with is the camera. It does great photos in normal lighting conditions, but the focus and noise don't do that well in low light.

This is a great phone for it's price, it's not going to be iPhone status but works like a charm for android users.

Like the design, and is a good alternative to Samsung. Liked the customizable back which allows for different designs to make your phone unique.

This phone is amazing battery life wise. I consistently get 9-12hrs SOT (screen on time). Most modern phones get 4-6 SOT. I average 10hrs SOT and I consider myself a moderate to heavy user. On the nexus 6P I would average 3.75-4hrs on the same usage for reference. The phone has a microSD card slot, non-removable battery, USB type C, finger print reader. no wireless charging, unless you buy the wireless charging extended battery mod. This phone will not work with verizon or sprint however even though it is unlocked. Performance wise I have no issues with this phone or experience any overheating.

Overall every aspect I was looking for in the phone exceeded my expectations battery life is superb

Great 1080p screen graphics. Long life battery. And cool mods for sound, projector and gaming.

Dropped my (in-contract) S7 Edge cracking the screen. Decided to purchase an unlocked phone to get me through the contract period and I'm very glad I did. Although the Moto spec's are slightly lower than the Edge, the Moto phone out performs because of the nearly pure Android operating experience. I've owned the Samsung S5 and S7 and just got used to decling performance due all of the preloaded bloat. Never again! I've not bought any of the Moto Mod's but I intend on buying several. As others have mentioned, battery life on this Moto is truly impressive. 2+ days on a single charge. And, I get 70% charge in 20 min. FYI, this Moto uses micro c, not micro. I found USB micro to USB C adaptors on Amazon (FanTek brand) and they work great. By doing so, I can continue to use all of my micro charging cables. The only negative is after-market case selection is limited. I did find a decent case on Amazon for $8.00. Overall, very satisfied with this phone.

As for a budget phone you wouldn’t notice that it is one, it has an outstanding performance

It still has some of the same flaws my old moto had but overall pretty fast and nice.

MOTO Z PLAY plenty of memory space, great features, battery last long, charges fast. Speaks to you and let's you know who is calling. Finger print protection against theft. Projector camera is great to watch movies. I would recommend this phone to all my friends and family.
