This phone was perfect in so many ways. Amazing display, camera, battery life, speed and finger print sensor. Unfortunately I had two go bad in the two weeks I had. One had a display that died on day 10, the next had a non working headphone jack that I discovered on day three. I struggled with switching to different phone that wasn't as good technically but it is reliable. Because of the manufacturing deflects I can not recommend this phone. I gave it two stars because of the great technology it contains.

Updated from Moto x pure - battery was draining fast after 1 yr of use- to z play. Z play fees faster, battery is a unbelievable strong, especially with the additionally purchased attached sleek external 2000 mha Moto z play mod. I love the touch sensor. Phone feels sleek and not cheep at all. It is a good value for the price

Got the motoZ play to replace apple I phone. A little difficult at first to get used to android, but after a few days of use no problem. Had to order a case from Amazon and there's not much to pick from even there. The Moto mods are overrated in my opinion.

Great value for the price. Battery life is outstanding. Motorola might not be the most fancy brand but definetely their products are hig quality and durable. Moto mods rock!

I was looking for a phone with two speakers but wasn't sure which one to get since there's not many out there. I saw Moto Z Play with the JBL attachment and heard them at the store. I was convinced that this was the phone for me! Battery life is phenomenal! I don't have to plug it in while working and still play games without draining the battery! It can go 17 hours + and still have 40% battery left and that even takes awhile to drain. I have to keep using it too get it to go down to charge just keeps going! Android is stock and no issues so far! Works Great! I would highly recommend even with the new 2017 phones coming out!

If you want an unlocked device and do not want to pay a ridiculous amount of money this is one fantasitic device. Great cameras, and the Moto Mods are the bomb.

After using phones from Motorola (before Lenovo), Nokia, Samsung, and 3 bootlooped LGs, I decided to give Motorola another shot. This is the first touchscreen phone I've used which didn't need charging after 5 hours. The SD625 chip feels just as fast as my last SD808, and it still has the 3.5 mm headphone jack and expandable memory. Camera is good, although definitely not as good as some flagships today. All of the past Motorolas have had batteries which stop holding charge after about a year, so I'll keep my fingers crossed until then. Impressed so far after a couple weeks.

Amazing iPhone. It is lightweight, with a beautiful design, and really easy to use. The cámara is great also and its battery last longer than most phones.

The phone works perfect, I will recommend it to anyone who wants it. A good battery which last long, excellent camera, good display.

This excellent phone has the best battery life of any smartphone I've ever used. I consistently can get two days of use even with heavy usage.Very smooth and moto's ui is very unintrusive. The only minor complaint I have is the camera is not top tier, but pretty decent in daylight and not good in low light. Overall a top performer.

I had been on the look for a great cellphone with excellent battery life ever since I purchased the Huawei Mate 2 years ago. After doing a lot of research I discovered this phone. I love the fact that this phone gives me a day and a half of battery life no matter what I do with it. I'm a heavy user and I've never been in a situation where I was scared it would run out. I was holding on for an hour at 5%. I also like that it's near stock Android, I would rather have amazing battery life then software tricks that eats away at the battery and slow down the UI.

This smartphone is a very good buy. It has a 16mp camera which takes very good pictures, and comes out crystal clear with the 1920x1080 screen resolution. It also has 32GB of available storage, which can be upgraded to a higher storage amount if needed.It also comes with 3GB ram to operate the smartphone. The processor is very fast and makes operating the smartphone very pleasant experience. If someone is looking for a medium priced phone this is a good buy. There is also the moto mods that can be purchased to make the phone more enjoying to use.

This is a beautiful phone. I especially wanted it for the battery power pack feature, however I returned it because it was much too large for my small hands. I purchased the Moto G5 plus instead. BTW love Best Buy for its easy and friendly return policy and their excellent staff.

Great battery and incredibly fast and smooth. One of the best Android phones, especially for the price!

Let me be frank when I say I did extensive research on this phone. I was using a ZTE Zmax Pro before, a "now" phone since my Z3 had a cracked screen and I couldn't replace it. After coming to a decisive solution, I got the Motorola Z Play. And my smile has never been better! Not only does the phone last all day, but even into the next day! And talk about a quick charge! I haven't used Moto Mods yet, but I am aiming for the Hasslebland camera one for sure. This phone is the best unlocked phone for the price and no bloat makes it extra nice!

My Onetouch Idol 3 was nearing the end of its usefulness. Apps lagging, wi-fi buggy, hold and mute randomly turning on etc. I needed something reliable and a little more high end. I don't have the need for a top end $700 phone. I did my research and went with the Moto Z Play. I'm with Metro PCS. Web browsing is snappy, whether over wi-fi or the 4G LTE network. No dropped calls, and call volume is loud and clear for me. I didn't buy the Moto Z Play for the Moto mods. The phone stands in it's own, and performance exceeds my expectations.

I have finally figured out that you don't have to spend $800.00 to get a really good phone. This phone is faster than my Galaxy S7 Edge was and the battery lasts 3 days plus. Also, there are Moto Mods for a projector, JBL speaker and a wireless charging battery pack. Best phone I have ever owned by far.If I were to pick something that could be improved it would be the camera. Great in good lighting but not so much in low light.
