I bought this Moto Z Play without many expectations since the reviews I had read were not very convincing. But this Moto Z Play has exceeded the good comments I read it before buying it. It is a very good phone, much better than my previous phone, a Moto X Pure Edition. It is fast, robust and with an excellent design. I am satisfied with its magnificent screen and the camera takes very good pictures. It is a good phone for its price. I recommend it to anyone who is thinking about buying it but has not yet made the decision to do so.

The phone is well built and has amazing battery life. Don't let the less powerful processor dissuade you from purchasing this phone. I have had no hiccups with daily usage and have not noticed it being slow or sluggish. The only complaint I would have with the phone is the finger print sensor and home button are separate. This was an issue for about a week. I have since retrained myself, so it is no longer an issue.

This phone has so much bang for the buck! Great battery life. Amazing camera. Processor has amazing response! Can't wait to try the mods.

This is one of the best phones I've ever had. Battery lasts all day and then some. Never any problems and I love the Moto mods.

The best thing about this phone is the battery life! it lasts for a TRUE TWO-DAY ! 10 hours of screen on time which is crazy and beats any other phone. plus the fact that you can get moto mods for it including a battery mod to get another day of battery life! phone is also fast, i love the amoled display and fingerprint scanner is really fast.

A good phone for the price. Great battery life and good camera. I gave one less star because it feels a little bulky. But, still great phone for the price.

I wanted a new smart phone but did not want to be locked into a contract or pay over $600. I wanted something that was current in technology and was innovative. When I came in to Best Buy and looked at their unlocked phones, the Moto Z play stood out for me. I read a lot of reviews and they were almost all positive. There will always be someone that was not happy with this item. I have only had it for a little over a month, but I have to say that I am extremely happy with this purchase.

For the price, this is one of the best phones. Great screen oled amazing battery responsive no lag. Fantastic feature and gestures like twist to activate camera and much more. Highly recommend

After getting tired of AT&T next plan and paying on a monthly basis for upgrades decided to invest in the Moto Z Play. I wish I had done this sooner. I'm not big on all high tech features on these new cell phones. I'm a loyal Android user. Phone does every thing other phones have. And I've always loved Motorola. My very first phone was Motorola. They definitely stand behind all their products. This particular phone is awesome for it's low price.

Flagship like style and features at half the price or less! OLED display? Check Metal build? Check Support for Moto Mods (finally I admit this is a little gimmicky)? Check Motorola's awesome gesture system? Check But the real winner is the battery life - with heavy usage it's nearly impossible to run out of battery in the course of a day. I only wish it supported Portrait Mode on the camera!

Awesome camera and video, super fast processor, and easy to use.

I purchased this phone in October 2016, and as of July 2018 I am still using it, which is rare for me because I like to get different phones. The battery life was pretty legendary when I got it, and it's still good today, although a little less amazing (but that is normal as batteries age). It has pretty good performance for a mid range phone and actually has a headphone jack (unlike a lot of phones these days).

Great specs for the price. Long lasting battery. Type C charging plus headphone jack. Great camera.

I love this phone, it's a great upgrade from my Moto x, better camera, more storage, runs smoother.

As advertised, this phone has phenomenal battery life. I have had so much trouble with the Samsung phones that I haven't put any games on this Droid for fear of battery drain. I have all my banking and communication apps and media readers/players and so far not a dent in the fender. Default settings and still three days between recharges. But the coup de grace for me is - NO FINGERPRINT READER ISSUES. Take note Samsung.

Turbo Charging - about 20 Minutes. Charge every other Day, can't beat that. 2017 Moto Z 2 Play opted out, difference 15% less battery for 1mm less than the 2016 Original Moto Z Play. Beware of Virus updates. Returned 1st one, was receiving Hello Moto cartoon on it's own and with commands. The worst, disconnected on phone with Hello Moto, returned. Replacement, so far so good. I'm just worried about the new updates. Motorola suggests to restart phone from factory settings. Not Fun...

I made the switch from Apple to Android with this phone and I love it. It is easy to use, it comes with instructions in the phone for those making the switch from iPhone to Android so my transition was simple, the screen is very responsive to touch, all around a great product.
