Phone is buttery smooth, feels great with the wood back included. Battery lasts forever. Ended up switching to a Pixel ONLY because it had the newest Android software. I would consider this phone over the Pixel if it had Android 7 right now, and may feel buyers remorse on the Pixel if this phone gets the update soon.

I was so impressed with the Moto Z, that I had to purchase the Z Play as my work phone. On top of being able to use the same mods, the Play takes it to another level with the insane battery life. While the processor is mid-range, it is still a power house. I'd recommend this phone to anyone that doesn't want to spend the extra money on the higher end Z. Both phones are the best of the year.

The OLED screen is outstanding. The Android performance is very fast and seems better than a much more expensive Iphone 6s+ we have. Battery typically lasts almost 3 days without a charge on the standard built-in battery. This model supports the Z-mods gadgets too. I haven't used any of those, but they are intriguing. Prices will no doubt plummet for those, so I'll wait.

The battery lasts longer than usual phones. The resolution and camera are great.

I have been using my Moto Z Play for a little over 2 months now. Battery power on this phone is awesome. I listen to music, check emails, browse etc and with all of that activity I still don't need to charge the phone for 2 days. Can't do that with an iPhone! Only reason I am giving the Moto Z Play 4 stars is becoz Moto has not 'officially' released an update for Android Nougat 7.0 yet. Overall, this phone is a solid buy which you won't regret!

All sales people should be taking their training from him!! Friendly,extremely patient,very informative and helpful! If my wife didn't have an S8 phone she would have this Moto Z

Very good phone for the price.Near stock Android and performs very well.It is a bit heavier than some other phones and there are better phones but they cost a lot more.

I love this phone. It's very used friendly and it was a lot cheaper than my last phone. The way you turn on the flashlight by flicking the phone is pretty cool as well.

Phone is better then advertised. Screen is big and clear plus takes beautiful pictures. I love the expandable memory up to 2TB.

Features are great and since it's an unlocked phone I didn't contain a specific carrier's bloatware. I don't plan on using Moto Mods but for those that are, it provides numerous expansion opportunities. Calls are clear and the battery life is the best of any smartphone I have ever owned. Only have to charge once every 2-3 days. Highly recommended.

Great phone, love the pure android experience. The mods are so awesome and the battery life is crazy. I'm a pretty solid user and it could go a whole weekend without charging this phone with the battery pack mod. I wish the CPU was a little stronger for gaming and with some mods it can get bulky but love the phone.

This is actually the 3rd phone I tried when I started looking. This phone has the right combination of battery life, good bluetooth integration with my car, ease of use, and good camera. The moto mods are really exciting in that they allow for expandable capabilities. So far I only have one (the projector), but I plan to get more.
