For this for my son, almost a teenager....not sure what I was thinking, but I was so impressed with this phone I had to second guess myself upon my upgrade. It's fast, easy to use android. Great camera and battery is amazing. Nice job Moto.

The Z4 has a larger screen and a superb camera. Additionally, they brought back the headphone jack which I love! This is an outstanding feature, especially when renting cars without a Bluetooth connection! I'm very happy with this purchase.

I got the Moto z4 as an upgrade for $240 not including upgrade fee of $40. Great features, a bigger screen than the previous model. Faster for sure, battery life seems a little better. I can use all my Moto mods from my Moto z2 force.

I may be a Moto Z fan by now because I do use the speaker mod and projector mod regularly and they are vastly superior to anything any other phone has. I am not a photo snob - differences in cameras is so slight these days honestly! It does take great photos no matter what those haters say. I have gotten a 108" screen from the projector and it was completely visible and good (not the best) color. Loved it! Gets a real excellent 80" screen on the wall or anywhere you want to put it. So cool!
I love the new full screen and the drop notch it sports. Getting it on special from Best Buy was the catcher for me. Should run that special again. I am finding I am ok with Android 9 and the MOTO doesn't come with much in the way of excess applications. I love that it comes with 128GB of storage.

I use my phone for personal and work purposes so when my previous phone just couldn't handle it I looked into this device. My guy had just purchased this phone a month prior so I got to see it first hand before buying. The Moto Mods are an amazing and game changing feature and I no longer have to worry about having to charge my phone hallway through the day. Even without a Mod, the battery is great in this device! It's fast, crisp and everything you could ever want in a device. I run a lot of different apps and this device runs them without missing a beat! Got it on a great deal which made the purchase even better! It's also compatible with 5G so you will be ready and prepared for it. Would absolutely recommend this phone!

This phone is great for me, 55 plus in age, simple to navigate, camera good, battery 24-36 hrs. Had Motto phone prior, no problems until battery started to go, lasted 3 plus years....

I was a bit hesitant to stick with Motorola as I was not impressed with the recent G7 lineup and I've been holding off for 6+ months to upgrade. Luckily the Z4 was released the week my Z Force was becoming unusable and Best Buy had it on sale. Comparing the G7 and Z4, there was no doubt the Z4 was the better but phone and better use of the screen real estate.
For me, the Z4 is an upgraded Moto Z Force which exactly what I was hoping for. Still have use of the Moto Actions, similar navigation, external sd memory, quick charging and decent battery life. Very happy with Z4.

Having z force and then to z4 I expected a lot better. Camera is good but not better. Speed is good but not amazing. Finger scanner is a complete failure. Reception and calls are same solid way. Why is the speaker where my hand goes in landscape, not thrilled.
Being a Moto person and my entire house Moto people, we expected more. This is way far from what we expected and not in a good way.

I bought into the Z family with the original Z Force Droid and was pretty happy with it. I was going to update to the z3 but decided to wait. I'm still not happy there never was a z3 force or according to Moto no Z4 force either, but its certainly an improvement over the original force. Verizon is still putting on their crapware but at least it can be disabled. If your not already using a Z and have moto mods I doubt this is the phone for you, but if you want to move up from an older model this is the way to go.

Great screen and camera, "almost flagship" phone

This phone is almost flagship, with a great camera and a brilliant screen. There are a few shortcomings though, for one the on-screen fingerprint sensor is pretty slow and takes more than one tries to unlock the phone. The 3600mAH battery is decent but hardly lasts a day with moderate use. The snapdragon 675 processor feels a bit slow particularly when switching apps.
Overall a pretty good phone!

I upgraded from the original Moto Z (Force). This is a great value (price vs performance). If you are a Moto fan don't hesitate to upgrade. Battery life is insane! 128 gb of storage on board, w/ an expansion slot means I don't have to juggle what I d/l anymore. The Moto Actions should be on EVERY smartphone! Finally, I'm glad my Mods will continue to be useful. So cool to pop on a speaker Mod when the time is right. Great deal from BB sealed it for me...

Has a very nice display, long lasting battery, supports mods and plenty of RAM and storage. It still works well over a year later, wish they would keep making the Z line but I guess this is the last one. The only issue is the in display finger print sensor. It works okay, sometimes it takes a few tries.

Purchased for our son. He had a moto before so was familiar with the brand and liked it. This one ROCKs! Best Buy had a really nice offer on the cost, which we appreciate! Son says the phone has Really good video quality, no issues with sound or connectivity and zero crashes. Good battery life. We added the extra battery mod and bumpers which we think are good investments. He would recommend the moto z4 to others.

The Camera on this phone is one of the best I have seen. I am also still a big fan of the moto mods my favorite of those is of course the battery mod. which takes the 2 day battery life of this phone and makes it 4 (3 with really heavy use) but since phones are insisting on the non swap able battery this is the best alternative without a bulky battery case, the moto mod doesnt make it huge like those cases do.

I had motoralla phone, so I wanted another one. This phone far exceeded by expectation s.
With 128 GB and 4 GB Ram, this phone is so much faster than my old one.
The phone was easy to activate. ( Verizon wanted to charge $40 to activate but got that waved.) I was able to transfer all files from old phone with no problems lf you are looking for a great phone at a good price the Moto Z 4 is for you

I got this for my son, as his Moto Play was a few years old and he could upgrade for cheap. His only complaint was that the speaker is on the top of the phone, so if you are viewing a video in the portrait orientation, the sound is going up in the air. Not a big thing. It has more memory than his previous phone and a better processor. All in all, a good deal!
