I came from an Moto z2 force. This phone really isn't much different. Some new features and better cameras. Most of the reviews are correct about the finger print issues. My last phone it worked perfectly with the button. This one isn't as good however it does say that if you have a screen protector as I do it might struggle. And this one does. I eventually shut it off which is a pain selling as I use the outside for most of my apps.
Other than that pretty good so far.

I've used Motorola Droid Turbo, Z2 and Z4. I love the solid battery life they all have. I use the OtterBox cases and recommend using some kind of case to protect any phone. The OtterBox z4 case I bought has no screen protector so I bought a tempered glass screen. The z4 is great and similar to the other Motorola phones I mentioned. I've never had a need for the mod attachments the z2 and Z4 that I have. I recommend the duel car charger (if you have 2 Moto Z2,z3 or z4 (all compatible with charger)) for long trips otherwise the battery is really great all day with regular use without fear of it going dead. I've enjoyed the quality and solid built Motorola phones with great battery life. I've stayed away from iPhones because it's seems everyone I see with one is always looking to charge their phone. Battery life was an important part of the reason I keep buying Motorola and the solid built quality is a bonus.

I have only had the phone for about 2 weeks however so far so good. Takes great pictures, processor is able to handle several things at once, switching back and forth. AND best of all I got the chopstick move back to be able to turn the flashlight on and off......Its literally the BEST feature on Motorola's.....Love It!

The Moto Z series has generally been good - large displays, compatibility with moto mods, reasonably priced. Got this one with a great offer through Best Buy, making the purchase a no brainer. Large 6.4 inch screen, 128 GB storage + micro sd support, decent camera. Plan to add the JBL moto mod for stereo speakers.

Love this phone. Previous phone was a z2 force and it's definitely on par performance wise. Battery life is great, lasts a lot longer than my z2. Not really much to complain about with this. It's fast and feels and looks awesome. Would recommend for anyone, it's an absolute steal for the promotional price

This was a big upgrade from my Moto E4. For the price this is a really good phone. The battery life and camera is great and the phone is very responsive. The fingerprint reader is not as responsive as my old Moto E4 but has not taken away from my overall positive experience with this phone.

don't have much experience with smart phones but I like many of the features in this budget phone. Battery charges fast and it last much longer than my older phone. 128 gig memory was nice and I have taken full advantage.
for the money it cost, $120 dollars I am very happy with it.

Best battery life out of all phones I’ve had. It lasted me about a day and a half and I used my phone with gps running for about 4 hours a day since I drive a lot and I still had about 70 percent left of my battery. It’s a great phone for its price and the camera is great too.

Good Android phone. Best Buy associates transferred data and pictures. Had to replace old Droid as the battery wouldn't hold a charge. This was as close to old phone as I could get. Like the screen and tough body of this phone. Oh, camera is good on this phone.

Easy to operate, fast enough for what I use it for, no games. Got it on smokin deal week, $5 month. Using Motorola's since the 80's, rough and tumble outdoor work. I know made by Lenovo now and they're not built like they used to be, but nothing is anymore

I purchased this phone as an upgrade from my Z2 force. So far I am very pleased with the phone. It takes nice pictures and operates quickly. The sale price offered by Best Buy made it hard not to upgrade even though I didn't need a new phone.

Motorolas are the best phone for the best value. Excellent battery life and I love the gestures options for turning on the camera and flashlight. This is a good smaller phone for smaller hands too.

I loved this phone until I dropped it on a stone floor a little over a month after purchasing it. I had not protected it with a case because Best Buy did not sell a case for this particular phone.
That was disappointing because I didn't have time to search for a case. The screen did not shatter when I dropped it, it just started to go black until I could no longer see anything on it. I took it to have the screen replaced, bought a case off the web, dropped it again with a case on it, and the screen popped off. I can't blame this on the phone or Best Buy. Like I said, I loved the phone. It was inexpensive and did its job. To replace it, I bought a Samsung Galaxy A51, another inexpensive (but great) phone if you're not a person who has to have expensive things.

I had previous generations of the same phone. Each iteration is better. The phone and touch screen is fast and responsive. Battery life is great, moto z attachments are compatible with the exception of the bumper.

I'm no phone expert, but the z4 does everything I need and is easy to use. Only problem is that it is new and there are not a lot of cases and screen protectors yet. Time will tell if it holds up to daily use.

This phone performs as good as any phone on the market at any price. It out performs all phones with it's battery life. I use it all day watching videos and listening to music all day at work and I work ten hour days. It is going to cost me ten dollars a month for twenty four months and if your a new customer with Verizon it will cost you five dollars a month. I've owned iPhones and Samsung that's cost me nine hundred each. This is my third Moto I've purchased at two hundred to two hundred and forty dollars and in two years I will upgrade to latest Moto again.

The Moto Z4 is a great phone and if you have Verizon, its a steal at $254 (price plus tax)! Another user on our plan got an iPhone XR and we compared pics side by side and in our opinion, the Moto Z4 outperformed the XR essentially every time!

This phone is perfect for the Motorola line, having the best notification display on the market. Upgraded from Moto Z Force. Speed is about the same, which is fine for me. Battery life is way better, even though only slightly bigger. Huge internal storage means no SD card needed, even though the option is there. Everything about this phone is decent for a mid range product. Just hope that Verizon or someone will come out with a bumper case similar to all of the other Moto Z phones. Can't use any case with a mod attached. Of course one of the best parts about this phone is the Best Buy price. Can't really beat that anywhere. I guess others must like this phone, too, since they are sold out!
