I LOVE this cable modem/router. It's super easy to set up (literally plugged it in and assigned it a password). It has 4 gigabit ports and WiFI N (Super fast). I currently have it attached to 2 computers, a backup server, and about 10 WiFI devices, this thing works like a champ. Its sits kinda tall on my work desk shelf, but I figure for the performance, it probably needs the extra room for hardware. It has a bonus USB plug in the back where I connected an external drive, which I can access on the network.

My internet connection was starting to drop sporadically. My ISP, Xfinity, said it was my modem/router, which was about 5 yrs old. Who knew these things with no moving parts wear out. Anyway, I bought this modem/router and my internet connection and speed were significantly improved. Just a word of advice, you have to contact your ISP prior to trying to install this so that the ISP can "register" it. Once that was done, smooth sailing in installing.

This is a great router/modem for the price. It handles two to three devices streaming without any problems. The only drawback I have with this product is the range of the WiFi signal however this is easily resolved with a repeater. I would recommend this product.

Great router combo!! Gives me the speed I pay for with Cox!! Simple setup which was nice! Covers my 1000 sf apartment in every room.

Bought recently and the modem is decent for the price and performance is good with par with other medium priced modems. Setup was ease and quick.

I made the decision to purchase this router because I got tired of paying the monthly $13 rental fee for my Xfinity gateway. I knew it would eventually pay for itself and I haven't had any issues with it since my purchase. It's easy to setup and use and I'd recommend it to anyone in the market for one.

Make certain that your cable provider is available to activate it. Easy setup otherwise. Decent range. Does NOT cover you if you have a cable phone and don't expect a replacement modem of that type at this price point.

Bought this modem/router because the cable modem we had from Comcast kept having issues. We weren't getting the speeds we were paying for. We were supposed to have 25+ mbps download but were barely pulling 5 with the Comcast modem. Heard from a friend that they had similar issues, purchased their own modem and the problems went away. Sure enough, with this modem our internet has been lightning fast with no interruptions. For the price you pay, it's a great product and in a year's time we'll get our money's worth for it because we don't have to pay a modem rental fee from Comcast anymore.

I bought this to replace a Netgear modem/router (would not recommend those) and I was not disappointed. This piece is simple to use and you can customize settings fairly easy. Since I buying it a few months back I have not had issues with dropped connection or anything. Motorola has great product quality & reliability. I do a lot of internet streaming/play mmos online and this product can meet my demands adequately.

If you have Comcast/Xfinity internet services and don't want to rent their gear, which can be expensive, then I would recommend this router/modem combo. It is a cable modem, so it is designed to work with Xfinity internet services. We have been using this for a month and have had no issues with it so far. No dropped connections, no issues with service, etc. Since this is a modem router combo, you do not need to buy a separate router or a separate to make it work, as this has both devices built into it. There are several ethernet ports on the back of the device so that if you want to directly connect a device to it, you can do so. Of course, it also supports wifi connectivity. We are using Wifi with it, and are having no problems whatsoever. We enjoy this modem/router combo. It's thankfully not very big, so you can just put it off to the side on a shelf and not have to worry about clearing a bunch of space for it.

Easy to hookup. Be sure to contact your service provider before installation. I have Comcast and it could not be activated without calling them. Once that was done, it was smooth sailing.

If you're looking to replace that Xfinity Wireless Gateway for which you pay an extra $10+/month rental fee, this product is exactly what you need! In under a year this product will have paid for itself in the savings on your Internet bill, and over the nearly two years we've had it so far, we've noticed no difference versus the Xfinity model.

I've had a great experience with previous model. So, when I needed a new modem fir Xfinity Cable Internet, I didn't look for any other brands/ models. This model has extended range compared to previous model, and I have no problem using built in wireless router instead of separate wireless router. I have close to 10 devices that may connect to it all at once, and I honestly don't see any speed drops. Good Modem!

Plug and go set up. Very straightforward. Fast! Good value for the price.

Got this about a month ago and it works great so far. Called Cox and got them to activate it and my speeds have boosted on all devices. I run and iPad, two iPhones, a ps4 and Xbox one all from this and sometimes all at once. I don’t know a ton about modems but for the price this one seems to be one of the better ones out there.

The router and modem in one saved me the rental fees from time warner and my speed doesn’t suffer! I’m getting more speed than I’m paying for! This thing is awesome

I purchase this Modem in September 2017, easy to set up. I was able to link my wireless printer effortlessly as well.
