Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the N450 N Router's ease of use, performance, and value for the price. Many appreciate the straightforward setup and reliable signal strength, resulting in good coverage throughout their homes. While some find the size or design somewhat bulky, the positive feedback on performance and ease of use outweighs these concerns. The modem's compatibility with various internet service providers is also frequently praised.

Got this to avoid monthly rental fees for optimum WiFi services and works good so far. Could be a little faster on the WiFi signal but I get the full speed on hard wired connections. If on a budget I would recommend.

This machine has great specs if you’re looking for a gaming computer that doesn’t cost a small fortune. The GPU could be a little faster, but at 3Ghz, it’s fast enough to run almost any game or program you can throw at it.

We thought it was the cable company who had the problem. We decided to purchase this product, and it made a big difference. We are now able to view more with no buffering.

I have a 7 year old laptop and it worked with this wifi signal and it has been a very smooth experience! Only issue I had was with the windows software and not the modem/router as it worked on all of the phone's wifi.

Technology Did Not Solve Connection Problem

I bought this modem to replace my older model of the same modem. I was having intermittent connection problems and this modem did not help at all. I returned it. After a few more tries with Comcast I bought a NETGEAR - Dual-Band N600 Router with 8 x 4 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem - Black which seems to have solved the problem. Also the Netgear is a less expensive modem. The only good thing about this modem is that it was much easier to set up with better instruction than the Netgear.

After realizing the annual cost of “renting” the modem from the cable company a friend recommended we buy the Motorola modem. It turned out to be a great recommendation!

This modem is good for Xfinity customers. It meets the requirements for Xfinity customers and the cost is cheaper then renting monthly from the cable company.

Bought this product so I would not be charged a rental fee for a modem at Comcast. Product is working as intended. Reliable wireless connection is available throughout the house

Purchased for a friend who needed a modem. He is pleased with it. Other than the modem disconnecting at times and need to be reset, there aren't any major issues.

Hooked up Comcast after FIOS kept going up in price. Comcast is pushing only docsis 3.1, but if you have a 250 mbs or less, this modem, router and Wi-Fi so is awesome.

I had my doubts but this is still working fine as a modem 2 years later. The WiFi signal was not good enough to cover a larger house that I moved to but it worked fine in a 2x2 1300 sq foot house and worked ok in a 2 story 2500 sq ft house. I have no complaints, only that it isn't the greatest WiFi router but it works fine as your gateway device (modem) for a bring your own device internet plan. We've recouped our investment.

Pretty average if you don’t want to spend a whole lot at first. After almost two years it started failing. Don’t know if I just made my home with more clients, or it just wasn’t supported by the company anymore. Whatever the case, really good since I first got my own place and now I needed an upgrade, really didn’t have an issue until now. It began dropping clients on pretty much everything I owned. Probably about 8 devices around my home.
