Poor performance. Had to replace it.

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This was recommend by Xfinity and is identical to the one that Xfinity installs, except for the Motorola stickers. I always had poor reception, low speed and drop outs. I was constantly having to reset it or reset the connection from my device. It never produced aynywhere near the speed that I was paying for. At Xfinity’s tech’s recommendation, I replaced it with a Nighthawk from Best Buy. It has been a night and day difference. The tech said they have had to replace a lot of the Motorolas and no longer recommended them. My speed went from around a high of 10mbs with the Motorola to over 200mbs with the Nighthawk. The only difference was the router.
