It's a great two in one unit. it receives a Comcast cable signal unscrambles it or whatever and then puts it in the air all throughout the house or with the ports through a wired RJ45 Cat6 cable. The Wi-Fi signal is strong and true the unit Works flawlessly. You got a router that Comcast will charge you $7 a month for and then you also get the router that puts it in the air for the Wi-Fi great 2 in 1 unit.

Good substitute for X1, just feels a little too li

I have it located in the floor, and it feels like a cable pull will tip it over, but it does the job and will save me $10 monthly from Comcast, so it is worth it.

Better then AC router

I was hoping to love the AC router but it just had no range. In my bedroom 30' away through several walls I barely got a signal. I bought this N based router and got maximum strength signal in my bedroom. Since, I've read that the AC technology has less range then the N technology thru walls so case closed.
