It's always 4G LTE with some kind of animation which might be lightning strikes or the wind blowing. I hate to say it, but my cheap Walmart hold me over for now phone, also Motorola (which caused me to like this brand) was doing way better with connectivity than this. That one just did not have enough memory, and it was supposed to be a basic holdover. This new phone has plenty of memory. Works really well. Except when you're trying to do the internet over phone connection it drags. I had not experienced that since three phones ago. My most need for this is Google maps when trying to find a location out in the field. Low connection to no connection often. Again last phone not so much a problem as this. This means I can't recommend it as a primary phone. But I'm still good with the brand.

The FM radio tuner and the chop chop flashlight have always been my faves. The speed of six gigs of RAM plus the 5G make me a happy man.

I’m a Senior Citizen so the 6.7” screen is perfect for me. I love the 6 gb of RAM, the 3.5 mm phone Jack, and the SD Card slot to store my photos and memes. The call quality has been very clear. The “Moto” App can come in handy for those less tech savvy, but for me, I wish I had the option to remove it. The phone is 5G capable, but the notification bar doesn’t show what frequency your on like some of the other phones.

Screen cracked after a couple weeks. I don't know if it was the case or if it was the screen protector. Then I tried to replace the screen and managed to destroy a couple other components that made the phone not worth the trouble.
