Love the physical keypad, must check volume often since volume button is located where one would normally hold the phone

This phone is the worse. We bought because if had a physical qwerty keyboard. Within 3 weeks of having the phone the screen goes black never to be turned on again. It just died. I guess bc the phone was free, we got poor quality. You get what you pay for right.

This phone was okay when I first got it. It eventually became a nightmare. Somehoe it removed itself from my phone plan??? and I had to work with the provider to get the account fixed. Traded it in on a Galaxy SIII 4G. Miss the keyboard but not the phone.

Too bulky! Size because of keyboard is not worth the keyboard itself.

Had to send phone back to Motorola for repairs after five weeks. The phone updated itself and never worked again. Motorola website states phone would be returned within 5 business days, and it took 8. Didn't get my original phone back. Best Buy and Sprint both asked if I purchased insurance. Don't feel I should have to purchase insurance to protect myself from a poor operating system.

i've had the phone for about 3 months, it performs well, good signal strength, even in fringe areas, good call and sound quality, abit heavy but feels good in the hand, the key board is really nice, i do more texting than talking , so for me it's perfect, the phone feels like it's well made, not plastic junk, even though it only currently runs on 3-g sprint service, it's actually pretty fast, i can live with it, the one draw back is the battery, kinda small for any android phone, but i down loaded "killer app" and that has nearly doubled my battery time, also battery tender app has legthened batt time quite abit too!! and by all means i highly recommend, seasoning the battery for optimal service, fully charge it, let it fully die, do this at least 5 times when new and that will optimize the recharge cycle of the battery!! over all, i think this is a well built and easy to use fun phone!!

I upgraded from the HTC EVO Shift 4g and must admit that this phone is a nice step upward. I'm disappointed that it will not play flash games or videos but that's common with most phones that aren't made by HTC. It's a big bang for the buck though. The only thing that i've found wrong with this phone so far is the battery life. It drains quickly and takes FOREVER to charge up. games run smoothly on it with no glitches hanging them up , and the videos that are taken from the main camera are amazing. I would recommend this to anyone looking for all the latest features at a simple price. Did i mention the outstanding 5 row keyboard that is set up with each key individually lit......Awesome phone.....

I have had it for 2 years. It works pretty good most of the time. However, it freezes A LOT. Every so often, it won't send text messages. Not very durable either. I dropped it less than 2 feet. Since then, my vibrate feature (which I use religiously) has quit working. And my phone gets really warm, almost hot when I put it in my pocket for more than 30 minutes.

The honest truth is the phone is great. Having the touch screen and key board who else is going to complain. The size of the touch screen is perfect to type, look at images, or play games. It's ideal for beginner or business person. I hope you enjoy it like I do.

This is our first Android phone with the Jelly Bean platform and we could not get it to work, so we went to the sprint store near us and they walked us through the process. That's the only bad thing I can think of......everything else about the phone is great! Music and movies sound really good on the speakers and I haven't experienced any lag time watching videos either. I do have to charge it after gaming and watching videos, so the battery could be better. Overall it's an excellent choice for those that want a slider and the latest Android platform!

I got this phone a month ago, upgraded from the original Evo 4G. This is the third Android phone I've owned, the first being the original Droid on Verizon. That being said, this phone felt like I was coming home again.
This is not a flagship device, and you will be disappointed if you think this should perform like an S3 or the Evo 4G LTE. However, I've not had a single major issue with this phone so far. It does exactly what I need it for, and that's text based communication. I've also installed a few games (i don't use it for gaming though) to test out, and they have all run beautifully. I personally don't have an issue with the display like some people who are complaining about the quality, but to each his/her own.
The keyboard is wonderful. I'm constantly sending text communications, and this makes it not feel like a chore. The lack of a physical keyboard is the single thing I didn't like about my Evo, so I was ecstatic when this phone was announced. I'm glad i wasn't disappointed when I finally got to play around with this before purchase.
The camera isn't great. That's about all there is to say about that.

Was great while it lasted

This was an awesome phone!... while it lasted. The first one I received wouldn't turn on in the store, so he automatically exchanged it for me. The second one worked great for 2 days and never had any problems... until I woke up the next morning and it wouldn't turn on. (and no, it's not a charging issue) I'm pretty dissapointed to have to take it back again... I don't think I'll get the same phone the 3rd time.
The sound on this phone was incredible! And the HDMI output is a nice feature.
Also, the navigation screen wouldn't stay lit up while in use... and I couldn't find a setting to change the background time for just this one application.
