Device works well and was easy to set up. I couldn't wait for the packaged batteries to charge so I popped in some rechargeables without any issues. I wasn't able to test range but we had no problems chatting and understanding what was coming through.

This product provided us the ability to keep in touch with our teenagers while they enjoyed their time on our cruise vacation.

I bought this radio to use in the farm when out in the field in areas that the cell phone does not have reception. The reception of the radio is fantastic. I recommend it.

I originally bought these to try out the range. In a city, expect the range to be limited to less than 2 miles. Sound was clear, and these walkie talkies became useful on roadtrips or hiking. The rechargeable battery packs are nice with a solid battery life.

Just don't expect communications to 35 miles unless you have a clear line of sight over that distance -- none of the walkie talkies really reach that far. Works great in shopping malls and big box stores and places on the planet that don't have cell coverage -- which is a lot, actually, and that includes a good portion of the US southwest. (When was the last you tried making a cell call in the Painted Desert?) Easy to use out of the box. Batteries and charger included. The manual covers what you need to know. If the batteries go dead you can replace them with 3 AAAs.

Bought them on sale for $55 for my boys bday. Works flawlessly. Great quality. I use it myself time to time. Great product. Battery life is great as well.

We use these radios while driving to destinations with other vehicles. If someone misses a light or turn, they are easy to use to help with giving directions, so they can catch up. Be sure to get your GMRS license for use on certain channels.

Great product. Took them on vacation and was able to leave the boat go ashore and still talk to family who stayed on boat

So far used for short range communication and have not any issues. Charge lasts multiple days of use before charging.

Used these radios on an 800 mile road trip and the signal never dropped out. I don't know about the validity of the distance rating since we were never more than half a mile apart, but they worked great for what we used them for.
