Purchased the walkie talkies to communicate with my children while on vacation on a cruise ship. Unfortunately, they did not work and we gave up. I will give them another try soon. I am sure they will work better on land

Great for out on the boat when you just want to talk with your friends and there is no cell phone service. A plus if you don't want to use or have a marine radio. And, they float! We recently used them out houseboating to communicate with the ski boat. They worked perfectly.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.bought this for a cruise and it worked ok as long as there wasn't too much distance between them. overall though we ened up not using them cause most of the time we just heard static. maybe all the metal in the ship was too much for the signal to pass through. i also tried them in the neighborhood and could only get 2 blocks before no signal. maybe i was doing something wrong.
