A Motorola walkie talkie

Bought it for me and my daughter to communicate while she goes to school and back since carpool takes her. School is 2 miles away. We lose touch 1/2 mile apart!! Also so weird that I hear my neighbors talking all the time. Not what I expected. Again I don't know, maybe this is how walkie talkies are. We are returning it for sure and getting some modern mobile device with Internet. The wifi coverage these days is not that bad. I don't need this 'ANCIENT' means of communication!

Great for moutain biking.

If you are an outdoorsman in vast open area with little are no obstacles. I believe that they would function well. However, for city use, they are very limited and subject to a great amount of interference.

It's not to bad

We used them a few times & found out they don't go far distance at all. Even though it does say up to 30 miles ... it's. not even close to 3 miles. So we are disappointed.
