We used them on a big cruise ship and they worked well and best thing didn't have to worry about them getting wet

On a recent road trip we bought these so we could have communication between two vehicles. Only downside is the talk button needs to be held about a full second before and after you speak, but you quickly get used to that.

Just picked these up brand new. Charged them and took them to a state park. Flat open land, no interference. A few lakes, hardly any trees. (James A. Reed State Park in Missouri). They on channel 2 and 19 threw a maximum of .72 miles or 3, 800 some odd feet. And at that range, (see attached photo), I could barely hear the other radio... That is not even the standard 2mile range I get from older motorola models or midlands. I am going to keep them only because they claim to be waterproof, though now I am skeptical. I have not tested the repeater option, but if you are looking for something that throws more than a mile in distance, look elsewhere.

Bought this as a wedding gift that friends requested in their registry. They took on their honeymoon to Fiji and said communication across the resort was awesome.

You can either charge these or use batteries to power them. Makes using them for long periods of time worry free.

What more to say than water proof walkie talkies, my son and I love them. it reaches out 35 miles, we haven't tested that far but we have 5 miles.

I use them for close contact....500 ft apart. The only thing I don't like is that the volume adjustment is not controlled by a knob on the side. You have to go into the programming mode and set it, then it stays at that level. My older models have a volume knob on the top.

We purchased these after a set failed us from wal mart. We get exceptional range and best part is they are rechargeable.

My friend dropped the 2-Way radio in the river. Picked it up and it still worked. The outer case is rugged. It can withstand the impact of dropping it on the ground. We have not had any problems with it. The sound quality is good.

These worked great on the mountain bike trails at Big Bear. Great way to communicate.

These are pretty average Walkie talkies. I use them mostly for road trips between caravanning cars, but have tried them other times as well. Like all walkie talkies they don’t go as far as advertised, but they go far enough. I like that they are waterproof. The rechargeable batteries are garbage so don’t even bother using them unless you can charge them every single day at the very least. With batteries they last a long time. I will probably buy more just because I already have 4 but we will see.

Purchased these for our grandson and am impressed. High quality water resistant and produced a strong signal. Would buy again.

Got these to use for drives with a car club and so far they have worked perfectly for this purpose. These replace a set that had non-rechargable batteries and having rechargeble is a big bonus. So far I've not had them to run out of power on any of the times I've used them. Range is satisfactory for my use.

Purchased for use in the workplace daily. Battery lasts reasonably long, and charging is simple. Hand units are durable and signal is clear even with some background noise.
